LA Manga Cafe is one of the best spots for social gatherings and hanging out with your friends and families. I've been to this shop many times and the shop's owner Lui is very kind and accommodating when it comes to answering the customers' questions, especially about manga selection or even sharing his opinions about certain series. If you guys are in/near Van Nuys or even in other LA areas, definitely check out this amazing spot.

As of now it’s a somewhat small place, but has a variety of manga and figures to choose from. The owner, Lui, was also a great guy that gave solid recommendations and mentioned upcoming events he was going to take part in for his store. I 100% have faith in the future growth of this store. Lui and the LA Manga Cafe made my day, and could probably make yours too.

I was having a rough day and came in not knowing what to expect. The owner, Lui, decided to strike up a conversation with me. Normally I'm not a very social person and don't like talking to people, but Lui was super friendly and made my day. He had a variety of manga and figures to choose from. I got a coffee float and a hot tea which were both great.It's clear Lui has a vision and a dream for his business as he mentioned some events his store was going to have as well as a few other future plans he has for it. Overall I had a great time. I drove over an hour to get here and I would say without a doubt it was definitely worth the trip. Shout out to Lui for creating a great vibe.

It's a small but really cool place to chill and read manga. The owner is fun to talk to and had great recs. I only wish they had a bit more variety for drinks but it's definitely worth checking out

Loved spending time here, even though it looks sketchy, what my friends thought at first too, but the place was SOOO COZY, and the guy was SOOO NICE AND CHILL, he even recommended mangas and series and if we would like certain ones,it was cool because the Guy taught me how to open those Candy sodas, and it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back again, and spending time with friends!!!!100/10.

Nice little spot off Balboa, plenty of parking. He sells pretty much every manga on the shelves as well. Some snacks and drinks for sale at the counter too. Very friendly owner! Purchased a couple volumes of chainsaw Man on sale from him during my visit, would definitely visit again.

This is more than just the manga aisle of Barnes & Noble, this is an actual manga cafe (in the LA area too, amazing!!!) where you can read and buy manga, have some snacks or refreshments, and best of all, enjoy the comfort of a nicely air conditioned room while listening to a soft anime (I think ghibli was playing when I was there) cafe instrumental playlist. What more could you ask for? I almost lost track of time as I was reading through a volume of Eva. The seat was comfy, and the mangas available are all in excellent condition. I’m so happy I saw this place on tik tok and was able to stop by during my lunch break. The owner seems really nice and chill too! I’ll definitely be back and hope to be a regular!

This place is the jam! Have been on a huge hiatus from reading manga and had recently discovered this place, have been on a reading binge ever since. Very good deals on manga, and you can post up, chill and read with some light refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. Also Lui the owner is one of the nicest guys and will help you with any need, from ordering mangas to keeping an eye out for what you want, best service hands down.

I wish I remembered to take some pictures inside! I will next time!, I arrived a few minutes before close and picked up some volumes of Chainsaw Man fast! The selection is small but there's lots of great series "Berserk,FLCL,Neon Genesis Evangelion and more" so go check out the store!also lots of parking in the back!

FINALLY a manga cafe in the valley! I saw a TikTok about it and decided to go since it's a small local business and I'M SO GLAD I DID -it's a hidden gem right now and I can totally see this getting big so go NOW.It's nice and cool in there, so it's so great to just chill at one of the bean bags and read away. Also, a good amount of the manga is for sale, so I snagged two Jujutsu Kaisen volumes! I did see Chainsaw Man, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Spy x Family, Fruits Basket etc there so you can easily spend hours. There are also white boards where you can draw your favorite characters so that was cute. The owner, Lui, is really nice and answered all our questions and made us feel super welcomed!There's even a loyalty card where if you visit 7 times, you can spin a wheel for a mystery prize, so you know I'll be back.As for parking, there's parking in the back; there's an alley area that will take you right to the parking lot.

Came back to get my volume of csm 11. It was cheaper than I expected! Check this place out, it's pretty lowkey with a good amount of manga
