Great service for goups. And hot foods are very homey but the outside services are bad. who arrests inconocent homeless people? Overall some of the management in the housing programs are rude and need to be more settling.

I take back what I said about this place, I didn't understand how they operated at first, but now do. If you want to take a shower you must stand in front of the gate on Tyrone and Victory, they open the gate at 8. The people are very friendly and the place is clean.

These people aren’t helping anyone they’re giving people the runaround obviously spending the money on themselves and there’s literally a homeless encampment right in front of their doors

Well my son was able to get a shower when I would find him. But he's been on the waiting list for nearly a month. No shelter, I asked if they had clothes so he could put some clean ones on..only a extra large shirt available , no pants, no shoes. Sometimes he was able to get a lunch. Not sure if he's getting the best help here. No answers but they say oh no one is matching him up with a bed no none available.....? Humm not sure if he's being served in the proper order..I heard about the program on the news and set out to find my son who is 31 with some mental health issues. Thought they would help. ?

Friendly people. Couldn't get the help I was looking for but they were super nice. Doesn't help families but they help the singles which majority of places offers to the singles unfortunately the families get very slim help

Really dedicated caring professionals. Extraordinary individualized attention. They provide a very much needed service to the community. Crystal, in particular, is not only beyond fast and hard working but also an amazing human being. A miracle worker.

SHAME ON THESE CON-ARTISTS. We have friends whom attempted to get housing early 2017after fleeing domestic violence by family member in their former home of 19 years in SFV. Multiple 2-4 hour intake interviews by each senior disabled adult - in desperate need of homeless services - netted no housing nor response from Hope of the Valley on Tyrone in Van Nuys. They are still homeless, left out in the cold mean streets, by Hope of the Valley whom receive $1,000,000s in TAX $$$.

Hope of the Valley has not truly helped anyone it is a spin off of jail/ prison. This organization is all about money. You have to ask for everything. They only cater to the people they choice to help. It's the Hurry Up and Wait game while they line thine pockets with grants and money from like mined individuals.

I feel privileged to be a Monthly and occasional financial supporter of Hope Of The Valley Rescue Mission. The staff will thank me for helping, but I thank them for the opportunity to help.

Very helpful and a very big part of the community. They need a good paint job and a fixer up sir but where's Jay z and Beyonce, etc people like that. The place needs a good facelift and the parking lot. There is security. Especially ever since somebody got shot and killed outside. But they are very helpful and I appreciate religion too because sometimes you just get on your knees and pray and ask for help
