Today I was scheduled for an oil change service and for a recall to be checked on my car . A day prior to the appointment I received a CONFIRMATION call a long with them informing me that they could perform oil change and run the diagnostic but may not be able to fix anything if the diagnostic required . I was informed at my appointment that they would not be able to help me since they were overbooked . I could either reschedule or leave my car there and retrieve it Monday inconveniencing my regular schedule .
According to the young lady and formen there was nothing they could do to help me . I find it very unprofessional for a company to schedule an appointment , confirm and day of tell me they can’t even complete my oil change due to there schedule being backed up .
. I would high recommend finding a different Honda service center .

It’s highly inconvenient that I took the time out of my work schedule to make this appointment when I could had been notified the day before. As well that I had waited 30 min before being approached by your employee to let me know that nothing could be done. It should not fall on the customer due your staff over booking.

The manager did reach out to me and apologize. I decided to give them a second chance and took my car back for service. Manolo in service was absolutely wonderful to work with! Franny the manager is so kind and my salesman Victor also made sure I was properly taken care of this time. They got me a lyft ride to and from my house while the repair was being done, and everything is great! I will definitely be returning for service again!
Appalled by the way I was treated by this service center today, specifically by Sylvia (as I see in many other reviews) and the sales manager Darin Lawrence. I bought a brand new HRV literally 10 days ago, and yesterday, a crack seemingly appeared on my windshield out of nowhere. I bought this car to take me to my cancer treatments safely, and was concerned for my safety and the integrity of the vehicle, as there seemed to be no source to the crack or impact site. I brought my car in this morning, assuming they would give me a repair estimate or cover it if it was a manufacturing issue. Sylvia, who truly needs to never work in customer facing service ever again, came out after 20 minutes, just to talk over and belittle me. She was also accusatory and dismissive. I asked to speak to someone else, and she brought me the sales manager Darin. His solution was again, not to give me a service estimate but to "buy the car back as a used vehicle". He also dismissed all my safety concerns, said I should "contact the department of transportation about that". This feels so shady and weird. I was shocked. I drove over to Honda Noho and had an estimate within 10 minutes. I also felt reassured that it was just a random tiny rock that hit my windshield, causing the crack, and not a bugger manufacturing issue. Why was this so hard to for the Van Nuys service center? I wish I had never bought my car here. Take your business to Honda North Hollywood instead, where you'll be treated with humanity and decency. I will say that Alexis Trujillo is a great employee and should get a raise. Honestly, give him Sylvia's job. He was the only one who showed me any kindness. I hate this place.

The service and the customer care was awesome. But after oil change it was showing my car Tyre pressure was low.
After rotation of tyre they didn't check properly / they ignored. I think they were in a rush to go home early.
I was the last customer for oil change that day.
The authority should take a good care of those issues.

They kept the key they removed from my glovebox that remove the lug nut on my tires. Now few months later needed to remove a tire and couldn’t because they didn’t put it back in the car after using it. So now I can buy a new set for $75 and wait for them to put on. Or pay $35 and wait 10 business days. Meaning now I can’t take off any of my tires until I get a key from honda. If you need car service use another place or take your key out of the car before having them service your car. BTW honda takes no responsibility like me a 66 year old is going remove my tires and honda is the only place my honda has been service since we got the car in 2019. No one has ever worked on my car except honda now on Oxnard before Sepulveda for years. They lost a customer someone who only went there! since 2019 will not get my car service there again. My key was in black zip bag in my glovebox and now it’s gone. So now I am gone. Bye bye honda.
