Don't ask queation or they will cancel your reservation. Service was horrible, someone sat in the office and did nothing. Wait an hour just for my reservation to be canceled. Can't use your phone because there is no internet/wifi without the access code.
They also ran my card without signature or approval.

The customer service at this location is very poor and unprofessional. They are extremely rude and they do not care about you being a rewards member. Please do not spend your money here. I am sick with cancer and they kicked me out of my room that I extended my stay on. I paid for the room extension but was kicked out anyway. Please pay extra to go somewhere else if you can.

Rooms: Average, not even water in rooms. I didn't want to ask!
Needs remodel. But good value for money.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was great!!!

JB instantly says “sold out” and I day “really?” He hangs up. He treats his customers poorly and I do not recommend anyone going to this hotel.

If someone gives this hotel 5* is either because they never been in a 5* hotel or are family/friends with owner.
1- Rooms smells terrible. 2- wall were painted over old fabrics cover. 3- Carpets are very all as well as furniture, full of stain. 4- elevators señaló all junk truck. Very very disappointed. Not healthy for elderly and children. You can easily tell this smell contaminated. Motel 6 is far better

Sorry to say this, I am very disappointed in the service I received in this hotel. The room smelled bad. While I was getting ready for A WEDDING the lights went out and the toilet was overflowing at 9am! Somehow I was able to get ready and leave for the wedding. When I got back at 3:30pm, I attempted to freshen up to go to the after party, and the water was turned off, and when we called the front desk they said it was turned off because of construction and that it would be turned on in half an hour but it didn’t happen.
How can a costumer expect good service without the basic facilities?!

Lovely receptionists!! Rooms are large and extremely quiet! I love it!!
Rooms: They're big, king size bed! Only thing the bathroom was small, but clean!! Coffee and tea available

I showed up at 11pm. I walked in, and the desk clerk said, "Your reservation has been canceled. No notification, no emails, calls. Just you out. I've stayed here before, and it's a broken-down used up hotel. I'll stay elsewhere from now on.

Only stayed because of location but this place is awful. Rooms aren’t clean. Hairs from previous person all over the bathroom. Construction above my room at 8am every morning with no warning. This place is garbage

Poor management. We decided to switch hotels after 1.5 hours of headache. Figured they’d treat platinum members better. Supervisors from IHG couldn’t even call this location to discuss the problem. Choose another location.

I have no problems with the room itself, and the location is extremely convenient for the job we are in the Van Nuys area for (not the best location if you’re in the area vacationing and want restaurants and attractions you can walk to).
Unfortunately I don’t recommend staying here unless you can afford to pay for a room twice, or at least can afford for the room charge to be pending twice on your credit card. Luckily my credit limit and available balance allowed for two $850 charges to be pending as of right now (I was called down to the desk to run my card again, despite the first charge from yesterday showing as pending on my account), but what if I didn’t have the available credit due to the first pending charge of $850? He seriously told me I’d be asked to use another card to pay again. And for my trouble of being called down to the desk to deal with this at 8 at night when I have to be up by 3:30 in the morning for work, I was offered…. Get this: a free bottle of water. A $.69 bottle of freaking water. No future free night, no bonus points to my member account, nothing even close to making up for this debacle. And I will still probably have to call my credit card company later after the charges clear my account to dispute the second charge.
Unless you’re okay with this kind of headache, avoid this IHG staffed with incompetent front desk staff.
And for the record, he claimed it was because the woman who checked me in was new- she definitely was new, because another male employee was standing there walking her through every step of checking us in, including running my credit card the first time.

After remodeling, the bathroom becomes smaller but the other area looks larger and comfortable.
$8 parking fee from March 2024.
