“this is definitely one of the best RC shops. They have all kinds of cars and brands like traxxas and arrma. I went there to turn my traxxas rustler into an FPV RC car by using an FPV drone camera and mounting it onto the car and Armand was very helpful and nice. The customer service is outstanding i highly recommend this place.”

“We were in LA for a few days on a family vacation. One of the things my kids like to do is find magic stores in the area so they can pick up a few tricks. We did a google search and The Magic Apple came up as a possible location. Never knowing what will come up as a search result, we didn’t know what we’d be walking in to. The Magic Apple was the best outcome for what we were looking for. The owner was so upbeat and had high energy. My son walked in the door, was greeted, was asked what he was looking for, got shown a few tricks, bought a few new ones, and walked out happy.”

“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. I didn't see anything in the store that I thought was low quality. Got a ton of compliments on my necklaces made by this bead shop. Good customer service and reliable. “This has been my go to place for all my bird concerns! I absolutely love this neighborhood store. They have everything you need and great prices, especially with the membership they offer. If I didn’t live an hour away and had the opportunity to go more than just when I visit family, I would. Employees take the time to talk to me and my girlfriend, have a great selection, and the owner is a cool guy. My girlfriend isn’t asking me to leave after being there for 4 minutes, which should say a lot to all of you who drag better halves with you to card shops!”
“Really nice store, lots of different genres of games TTRPG, TCG, board games, and minis and lots of paints some citadel and also Vallejo brand colors and primers and brushes also. Went on a Sunday and noticed lots of people playing some mtg and yu gi oh also couple guys doing some Warhammer so it's definitely a popular place to chill.”
“We're a D&D party of 8 plus DM, and we couldn't find a place willing to accommodate a group of our size until Paper Hero's Games! The staff is so kind and helpful and they always make sure we have a space to play and everything we need. Special shout-out to Olivier who's always so friendly and accommodating. Though the player community here is more Magic-focused, the store also has a great selection of board games, D&D miniatures, and dice. Oh, and cheap snacks and drinks — a boon for those 4-hour sessions when my party is desperately trying to survive the mortal danger I throw them into.”

“Needed help answering some questions about a baseball player from the early 2000s named Derrek Lee so I called this place. I was super impressed with him knowing about a baseball player from the 90s early 2000s. This baseball players dad played in Japan and he grew up and went to grade school in Japan. I was confused on the regulation and “World Baseball Classic” eligibility and he knew EVERYTHING. I really needed it explained to me, I like to understand the rules and regulations even if I’m not a baseball player or collector. Thanks for helping me understand my retro video game and clarifying that he is in fact able to play for the world baseball classic Team Japan.”
“I've only purchased singles and sealed mtg product, but the folks working there seem pretty nice. They've answered a lot of my questions and are very attentive to the people shopping there. There is a kiosk in store as well if you need to search up more cards.
I usually order my cards online and pick up in store and have not faced any issues with it. There's been a few times where they could not find the card in stock and I got my money back in store credit.
Parking can be a bit of an issue in the latter half of the day because it is a busy plaza, but I do not hold that against them.

“I love this place. They have a wall trying to keep up with the latest comic books that I can appreciate. Not sure how to explain but if I wanted the 10 latests comics of a series, probably couldn't get it but they still have the latest comics. Apologies if I didn't explain that well. There's a ton of collectibles so if you're looking for a gift or anything to decorate your house, solid options here. Shirts are a lil too nerdy for me but they seem to have been made of solid material. Customer service is great. They've always been helpful while I've been here. Not sure about the prices but it's like the toys r us for comic book shops”

“If I die and get to go to heaven, I am going to ask the bus driver to stop at Blick so I can load up on supplies. I will unload my haul at the gates and wait for all the cool kids (aka the creatives) to come meet me. I will let them use all of my markers, paper and paint in exchange for their advisement on how to best decorate a proper heaven.
