So I want to start off by saying after many years of living near this GameStop, and having the quality of service go down,unfortunately after my last interaction, I cannot and will not shop here ever again. Let me start off by saying that I visited this GameStop January 10, 2024 to purchase an Xbox controller and my interaction with employee was good until check out. The controller that I wanted to get had a different price than what was advertised on the wall and even after reminding the employee of the price, i was told me he could not honor the price and immediately printed a tag correcting the price And I understood that it happens. Prices can be different and retail companies can correct the mistakes but even after that interaction I decided I wanted to get a controller despite that interaction. I wanted to get a Controller and had asked employee if they price match, the employee told me no and then corrected himself and said yes, but only if you’re a pro member, so with that interaction I walked away with without a controller because I realized I was not being told correct information and was turned away. GameStop policy is to price match and you do not need to be a member, and that the price match is done by the employee as long as it’s sold by any major retailer and not a third-party, which is understandable. So I did go to another GameStop to gather information I bought a controller and was price matched with no issues. I hope management can train employees of the store better because after this interaction, I won’t be shopping here again.

This place sucks!!! Apparently the employees can just take off in the middle of their shift and just close the store down if they feel like. We drove down to pick up a game we ordered, called first to make sure they were opened, only to arrive at a closed store with a handwritten sign taped to the door saying, "be right back 3:45". It was 2:45. So the employee just up and left the store closed because they had to go score drugs or go home to take a sh*t or maybe they had to go to their safe space for a while. This is the new normal for customer service since gen Z entered the workforce.

Whenever I go here they never have what they say they do online. Every visit has been a waste of time. The folks working here are nice though.

Really bad customer service! I just went to get new copy of a game and Herman the associate Really gave me the silent treatment Really rude when I ask him simple questions about the games I was trading. Basically while he was putting all the information on the computer I ask him one question and didn't respond at all then I asked him again and he didn't answer either! so freaking rude will probably never come to this place again If Herman is working at this store!! I worked st customer service for a long time and will never treat my customers like that!

"Chic Think"??♂️. Basically, the main reason why this Country, this State is getting a lot of these millennials that are so bad at Customer Service. They are throwing out their "Common Sense" over some d*** way to go the around and about but leads to nowhere but frustration besides a "Question" that pops in my head "Why are you working here!?" There was no Point A to Point B until I literally have to her own job since she was preoccupied with something else "like all millennials do " open the box and flash the receipt. And yet. That still lead to the 30 minutes of extra nonsense. FML??♂️. It was just a simple warranty accessory replacement or reupping on an accessory?. Turned out. The person that was on the clock on 10/06/2023 around 12:30 pm wasn't all there"?". This was the first and only bad customer service I have ever experienced at "ANY" Gamestop in my entire 35 years of my life. I had to hold my back my previous Military switch just so this kid?? can at least finish the transaction in 30mins... That should of taken a couple of minutes . "FML" ??♂️. Because of this kid??. This might deter me from walking into this Gamestop in the future. I do not have the patience to go through that "ridiculousness" again like in my younger days in the Military??♂️. If I walked in and see that Gamestop Associate??. I might as well walked back out and looked up a new "Go To" Gamestop stomping grounds. It is that bad!??♂️

Staff always helpful and fast at this GameStop. Always seem to have the games my kid wants. Good store. Just wish they'd stay focused on the games themselves more then all the promo and toys that come along with.
