I actually looked here to find a good nearby jeweler. I needed to fix a few pieces and buy a gold necklace for a piece my late mother wore. Must say I found a hidden gem in Mr Max. He is knowledgeable, helpful, quick, fair & honest.

I need a necklace fixed , last minute evey where i was calling they would say would take days. I found Don Max on Yelp. I called him and he said "sure come in, ill have it ready less than 10minutes" and he sure did. He was super friendly, reasonable price. He even clean the necklace and my wedding ring set. I will definitely come back. Thank you :)

The owner is such a sweet man replaced the spring ring clasp on my golf chain in minutes and cleaned it for me as well. A little difficult to find it's inside a salon but well worth it and a great price as well. Will be returning

Located inside a hair salon in a strip mall Max repaired batteries in four of my watches. He did a great job and has been repairing watches for 40 years. Will definitely go back!

He couldn't fix my watch but was very sweet about trying and refused to take $ for his time. I went in for a battery so no luck reviving it, but will def go back to try a different watch if have better luck..,

Never in my life have I been satisfied enough by customer service to actually take to Yelp and write a review until today. I searched Google Maps for a nearby watch repair shop to get a new battery in two watches and a new band for one of them. After taking a minute to find Max's shop in the same store front as Dina's Beauty Salon. I was incredibly surprised at how quick Max did all of the work and returned my watches in pristine condition while I waited. If you are in Van Nuys or Sherman Oaks looking for watch repair this is definitely the place to go!
