I ordered euros from this branch last week. They called saying my euros were ready for pick up 2 business days later as expected, and I had a full week to pick it up before it would be deposited back into my account. I went back to the branch 3 days after they called and turned out the branch had CLOSED for maintenance. I ended up calling a nearby branch and they informed me that this branch will be closed for the foreseeable future and my euros will be completely inaccessible for pickup. This worker even said they were shocked that they didn't contact me to inform me that they would be closing to ensure I picked them up in time. I ended up calling Chase customer service and spoke with a supervisor. The supervisor said they should be able to have the branch manager move my euros to a nearby branch. They were attempting to contact the branch manager for 15 minutes and were unable to reach them. Also would like to note that I have tried to call this branch 17 times in the past week and have not once received an answer. Don't even attempt to call them! They won't pick up! Only giving 2 stars because when I was in the branch ordering my euros, the worker who helped me was very nice.

I had a terrible experience at Chase Bank in Van Nuys. I went in to open a joint account because you cannot do that online. I was told to wait for the next available person to help me. However, the person who was available helped three people who just walked in, without even looking my way. They did not have an appointment and were just walk-ins. I felt completely ignored and disrespected. It was clear that my time and business were not valued. To make matters worse, the staff was unapologetic and seemed indifferent to my frustration. Overall, I would not recommend Chase Bank in Van Nuys, as they clearly do not prioritize customer service or value their customers' time.

This has to be the worst experience I've had with the Chase brand all together. I have been calling for 3 fuckin days straight trying to speak to someone at this branch and absolutely no one gives a fuck to pick up the phone.

Horrible customer service. From manager, and Teresa S. I waited for 1hr before they can tell me we can't help you. You need to make an appointment with Eric. Yet Teresa was sitting doing nothing and said she had no more clients. Her lack of customer service was well evident. She could have tried to help me out when I told her the reason I was there. The manager told me I had to make an appointment with Erick once he told me they were closing soon and then asked me " who is the client". Really??? Now, you asked after 1 hr of me seating and no was helping me and I was waiting patiently?? I'm so upset I wasted my time. Very disappointed with the lack of service. Not worth doing business in this branch when they treat you like this and don't even have the audacity to help you. You still had 10 mins on the clock to help me!!!

Wow. The manager here is a big time D Bag. 24 years with Chase and Ive never been asked to leave, but this angry little man in a cheap suit that didnt fit felt the need to make it a first for me. My atm card is a little worn, the chip doesnt read sometimes. I came in to do a cashiers check, with my atm card, as well as a credit card, ID and another chase debit card from another account. He insisted that the card from one account needed to be chip read and there was no other way to verify me, not even with a text code or atm card from another chase account. After about 5 minutes of me politely asking the teller to try this card again, this angry little guy came up to the window waving his hands and said "Youve wasted enough time, You have to go". Dang lil fella, one day osh kosh will make nicer suits, just hang in there, you dont have to be rude. Tellers were awesome by they way... always are. The one helping me even apologized for the managers behavior. If he treats customers this way, I can only imagine what its like to work there!

Don't go to this Chase. There's better locations. They don't pick up the phones, they won't call you back, it's not in a good area and not the best of the best.

This Chase a bank location is B.S. all the staff working there is a freaking liars and lazy as hell. They don't know how to communicate with their Customer and they have no accommodation for disabled as well. And to top it off some guy name Erick is freaking rude. Don't call me to tell me you can't assist me and then hang up on me when I clearly was still talking to you. This place needs all new staff. To top it off, their branch manager never came out when requesting for them. If you have in-counter a bad experience with this location, please guys BBB them. This is the only way this place is gonna do something. No one should be treated rudely by these people. By far, this is the worst Chase Bank I have ever been too. And if you want to file a grievance, I suggest you call the customer number instead of going in and doing one, I'm sure they'll hide it!

Horrible customer service. Choose to follow protocol to common curtesy and common sense on basic things. Go to Logix, you will find people who actually care to help.

Outrageous wait times only to find out that they don't carry quarters. 1 star because I've never been to a bank that didn't carry quarters. Also they couldn't provide an explanation as to why they were no longer carrying quarters.

Horrible bank! Avoid this scam of a business if you can. Stole 1700 of my hard earned cash and it's been over 3 months and they are still "investigation"

Meh. It started out well when I went to deposit some cash. Teller was friendly and helpful. Then I signed in to wait to speak to someone about a separate issue, and I waited 45 minutes!! It wasn't even busy that day! I finally called Chase general customer service while I was waiting because I was so frustrated. They gave me the info I needed, and then I was out of there! This branch needs to up their game in terms of in-person service.

Went there today to "deposit only" my work checks and was going to order more checks, but didn't get that far because the teller asked me to remove my sunglasses after putting in my Chase card and entering my pin number. Why? I wasn't withdrawing money or robbing the bank. I have an eye drop antibiotic prescription right now for an issue with my eyes and the recent winds have made my eyes worst that they are watering and I literally look like I am crying. The sunglasses help me right now with light sensitivity because of the eye drops and hiding my tears, because my eyes are basically a facet right now. I was so insulted I just lowered them for her to see my eyes and put them back on. I'm insulted and feel she had no reason for this. What if I had had my eyes dilated for an eye test? I don't owe her an explanation. I am starting a new job next month and having automatic payments, guess who just lost my bussines??? I won't be getting checks there after all, I will get them at my other bank, been a customer with Chase for like 30 plus years. Ending my relationship with Chase. Way too rude for a regular and loyal customer. Yes Chase that's all it takes to lose a customer with so many bank to choose from, why be treated like this? No reason. I was mearly making a deposit, fyi I used my Chase card and pin, then asked to remove my sunglasses. Why? It's not like they have a photo of me in their system. On another note I am allowed to give my Chase card to anyone I choose to and they could make a deposit on my behalf too, if I wanted. With my card and my pin number. So still don't know why I was asked to remove my sunglasses.
