I've been coming to Central Valley Builders Supply since 1994 when I was rebuilding my house after it fell in the Northridge Earthquake. I've been here to get re-bar, sand and gravel, wood, stepping stones, concrete bags, mortar, and tools. It's always been a good experience with easy parking and friendly employees. Located on Sepulveda near Oxnard it's easy to find. Josh has been very helpful and quite nice to my wife and I. He should be running this place in my opinion. You order and pay at the desk inside and then wait outside the door for someone to get your paperwork. Soon your materials are brought right to your Car or Truck. Prices are reasonable and competitive. It can be busy early in the day but lightens up before noon

When our contractor stole all of our money and abandoned our job, the great folks at Central Valley Builders stepped up to help us in our time of need. My wife and I were completely lost on what to do going forward but thankfully we found the incredible Jose Ramos at Central Valley. He stepped up and went above and beyond to not only answer all of our questions, but he went out of his way to check multiple vendors to ensure we got the best possible price and got the product quickly! Most other suppliers in the area quoted us a week turnaround time, while Jose got either the same day or the following day delivery. We can't thank Jose Ramos enough for turning what was a very trying and difficult time for my wife and I into an enjoyable and successful project. Thanks Jose!

Well I go there every day sometimes twice a day most for cement for stucco. They have great prices and high quality items. I wish they have more material but just to have great products for Stucco near me is already a big deal.

0 stars. Two occasions I have called before hand and they assure me they have the material. I show up and they say who ever said yes was wrong. The system they have going on is dishonest.

I have been shopping at their various materials yards for over 30 years. They have what you need, can order what you need and can help arrange to get it to your job sites. If you do not know what your are doing or what you are looking for, you might have a problem. They service the construction business well and that is why I keep going back !! Mike

I write because I want to warn others not to by planting soil from here, as it's low quality and I wouldn't want others to mess up all of their gardens. I had 9 cubic yards of veggie mix delivered for a raised bed that I built at the beginning of the year. The soil was very low quality with almost no organic matter (compost). When I water, it pools on the surface which shouldn't happen and the vegetables aren't growing well. Honestly, their veggie mix (which isn't cheap) is little better than construction fill soil. After the season I'm going to dig the bed out and replace the soil. I would recommend going elsewhere, but at the very least look at the soil before you buy. VERY POOR QUALITY.
