I went in to buy a quick gift for a friend. The store was uncharacteristically quiet for a change. I walked in and I met Brandon, the clerk, and was immediately greeted with a warm smile. I planned on spending a small amount, but Brandon is such a good salesman that I left there spending more than I wanted, and bought myself something nostalgic, but I got quality products and a fair price. I highly recommend this smoke shop above many others I have been to.

Been a customer of Darrin for over a decade now. Straight up, you will never find a better level of service anywhere. The store is epic old school. Darrin is helping to put together my own very custom blend of kratom, which is a service I have not seen anywhere else, in the country.Can’t go wrong with Capt Ed’s.

Went to get some needed items they’re said to open at 11am it was noon and the weren’t open. I waited 30 minutes they never opened. Normally one of my go to spots.

AWWWWWW HERRRRRE WE GO AGAIN!!! First off I'd like to thank BRANDON for his excellent customer service. When I walked in he was trying to get a little bite of food in, but when I came in his attention went straight to me. I even suggested he could go ahead and eat some more if he wanted to (I understand we are all human and a bite of some nourishment will keep you going). His response was naw bro you're my priority, what can I do for you? So thank you for being professional and attentive to the customer in front of you. I know it's a smoke shop, but nonetheless it's still a business and I appreciate BRANDON for that. I came in a bought the stealth detox drink with the 5 capsules. AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!! If you need to detox for any reason at all take this for sure!!!! I'm proof it works. Used this now on 5 different occasions and beautiful. The only thing is that you have to get it from CAPTAIN EDS there are a lot of knock offs that look, taste like the real deal but they are fakes. It's called TOTAL STEALTH DETOX WITH CAPSULES. Gave captain Ed's 5 stars for providing great customer service, great products, and for hiring individuals like BRANDON. Give them a visit for all of your smoke shop needs. Peace!!!

Between everything being ridiculously overpriced, the super high pressure sales pitch attempt to upsell me five separate times on a simple small purchase and the snarky attitude of the high school kid who was working the counter tonight, I don't even know what else to say. I thought this place was supposed to be legendary? What a joke. Absolute worst experience I've ever had at one of these types of shops. Stay away. You're better off going literally anywhere else. There's no shortage of other choices. I wish I could give zero stars.

Captain Ed’s is by far the best smoke shop in the San Fernando valley and has been around the longest I believe. You can pretty much find anything here or they will help you get it. Good quality on everything they have. I went around looking for a vaporizer I tried like 5 smoke shops and I remembered that captain Ed’s hasn’t disappoint me before. The worker there name “D” was a big help! He went out of his way to explain what was the best one in his opinion he wasn’t trying to sell me on the most expensive one he did show me cheaper kinds but I did go with the most expensive one lol thanks “D” you were a big help.

I have been coming to this smoke shop for over ten years. I have lived in the valley my whole life and this shop has always been my favorite. I went by there to pick up a new downstem for my piece and when I was checking out they guy said I could show my boobs to get a discount. Which he then checked and told me I would save 16$ and it's always been there policy. I was creeped out said obviously no and left. I have a good job and don't need a discount showing my boobs to get money off. This literally creeped me out and now my once favorite smoke shop only brings bad memories. I am disappointed this was even said to me, I also wanted to write this review for any future ladies going alone to buy something there.

The employee was so kind and helpful. We bought a great variety of items, we needed and we didn't even know that we would need them. His information was priceless. But the best is they sell American made glass. Amazing customer service.

Our favorite glass shop in the Valley. If you're looking for some great choices of high end glass, this has never let us down in the 8 years we've been shopping here. Most of our pieces are from here, staff is always super friendly and helpful. They always have the best deals on 4/20 if you can wait, but you can't go wrong year round
