Horrible rules. Horrible customer service. I came in with my disabled elderly father. He needs a print out for previous bank statements, his building requires it once a year. Teller can't print it out for me. Customer service can't help us without an appointment. Really? You need an appointment to print 6 papers?? This bank and this branch is a joke.

Bank of America6551 Van Nuys Blvd. Pros:- Cashiers, Financial Runner-Guy, and Account Managers are all accommodating, upbeat, professional, and helpful.- 6551 Van Nuys Blvd. is conveniently located in VN - with easy access to quite a few businesses (mini USPS, So Cal Gas/Dept of W&P, Courthouses, Government Buildings, 7-11, El Pollo Loco, Yoshinoya, that Smoothie place, etc.).- They have reopened post-Covid (since August 2022).- Hand Sanitizer dispensers in multiple places w/easy access.- New pouf/ottomans beside teller windows.- Building is spacious and groovey, late 1960's-style.Cons:- No A.C. and that building has zero airflow. It's stifling. We've had cool temps lately 50°'s + 60°'s, but it's hot in there. When it's 105° in Van Nuys, it's sweltering. The very least they could do would be to add a couple of fans so customers don't pass out while in line.- No music. No sound at all. Just a hot, silent huge room.- 1 teller when they opened at 10am today (pretty common, in my experience). The other 2 or 3 tellers are around but doing something else? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a couple/few tellers at busy times? Approximately 20+ customers in line, waiting for a teller. - Shorter hours M-F 10 - 4 and closed on Saturdays.Summary:Overall I like this BofA. It's one of the businesses that is still here in Van Nuys (I was worried there for a while when they closed for so long) but they're back! They just need to make a few improvements, that's all.

The tellers are lazy to the Max. I was waiting to see a teller for 40 minutes and was wondering why people are leaving and cussing the tellers out. Then I approached to see if a teller is available the girl teller very rudely said one will be with you when they are available. Mmmmm excuse me there are 3 available just standing and talking.

At this point it's pretty difficult to tell if it's just Bank of America as a whole or the branches that I happen to walk into. I am so over how they just do the least in face to face customer service. I have been in line for about 30 min at this point and am writing this review in line with 7 people remaining in front of me. There are at minimum 50 people waiting for a teller with two tellers in total in the branch. The AC doesn't seem to be working on top of it and it is a fairly hot day just making it even more annoying. It's times like these I wonder why I still have accounts with BoA. Think it's time to move my remaining accounts to chase..I just added some pictures I took on my way out. The outdoor line was just abo it to end of the building when I first got in line. Definitely needs work.. this is not okay to your consumers or employees.

Closed for no reason. No explanation on the door. For a week straight. Was forced to go to the next closed Bank of America and that was horrible. Bank of America is too big to not employ more people to provide better service. Would not bank here!

The tellers are rude, they don't know what they're doing, worst experience I've had at a bank.

Well it's the usual at Bank of America only two windows open on Friday at 2:30pm with a line out the door. One associate on the floor and an ATM inside that is out of order

Welcome to Bank of America in Van Nuys on Van Nuys Blvd...This is a long standing branch, but isn't very up to date as far as the interior setup. I also feel they are not taking all the necessary steps in quality, care and social distancing they could be, but they try if nothing else...I know longer bank at B of A for numerous reasons, however my better half does so I tag along with him often. The lines at this location are some of the longest I've seen whether going in or passing by on the street during the week.If you don't require any rep or teller assistance I beyond recommend the ATM outside the branch... They have five of them and all of them are rarely in use.The ATM machines are the most up to date thing about this location and some of the best I've seen, though I wish they were a little more private like the access at chase... but unlike some banks they do have several "terminals" for use toward on the westside of the building off Haynes, where the parking lot is. It's very handicapable accessible as well. It's an easy walk up access space and has a very fair amount of parking.
