Do not use this company!!! They charged me 6K to move to Atlanta and they cost me $10,000 worth of damaged belongings. Everything I owned has been damaged. All dishes, glasses, furniture has been damaged in some form. Check out the pictures I posted and don't let them move you!

i"ve used this company and have filed a claim for damage and stolen property. i also have a police claim for grand theft. the claim company phone number that they are giving out is not valid, the claim adjuster stated that they stop doing business with america moving and storage back in 2016, however am&s is still giving out the same claim adjuster phone number to customers they are not going to honor any claims that are being submitted on behalf of am&s. can anyone tell me what steps to take next in order to receive reimbursement for my items damaged and stolen;this to include putting this fraudulent and misleading company out of business for good. kenneth k. usmc retired 10-15-18 note: i will be suing this so call company in the very future..

HORRIBLE SCAMMERS! they quote you a low price and just as all the other reviews state, they load up their van and more than double the costs on you. Then, they don't even answer calls or emails... and put a phony address on their contract to a residential home. Absolutely ridiculous and stressfull when having to deal with them from another state and not having any of your personal belongings! DO NOT USE THEM. they need to be put out of business and sued.

Worst moving experience! As though moving across country isn't stressful enough! I contacted Americas choice months before my move and Amy was helpful and answered every question and every email within 24 hours. That was when the customer service stopped! After setting up my pick up the experience went down hill. After loading all of my belongings and coming to me with a price over $3000.00 MORE than the original quote that included $650 worth of "crates" (cardboard boxes) what was I supposed to do? Tell them unload all of my belongings! They then left and I had to clean up my house from their trash they left behind including shoes! Who leaves their shoes?!?! I contacted Americas choice about the service I received and was told it was being sent to a manager and they apologized. After realizing that I didn't recieve the discounts I was supposed to (almost $300) for veteran discount and free crates I contacted Amy with no response. Later being told my discount no longer applies to my move.... Have no reason why. My belongings were to be stored for 3 months while my home was being built. I ended up getting a late notice for storage fees via email. I responded to the email letting them know I never got a bill so how would it be late? The response was then that I received the email by mistake and to disregard.so I did. After being told my belongings where on their way for over 2 weeks the driver called to give me an arrival window and tells me I owe $650 MORE than my paperwork!!! I called Americas choice and was told they made again another mistake and I do owe the storage fees! Every time I would call i would speak to a different person that has no idea what was going on and was told the person I spoke to prior was off that day or on vacation for 3 weeks! How are you off during the week when you are closed on the weekends! A week after my 1st available delivery date my belongings had not even left California yet and the lady on the phone had the nerve to tell me congrats on your new home go ahead and go to Walmart and buy yourself an air mattress to sleep on!!!!! This company is extremely unprofessional and I don't know how they are still in business. DO NOT CALL them!!! I had smashed boxes with multiple items broken! One box everything inside the entire box was shattered! They are careless with your belongings and your money! They are not Americas choice and should not be in business! A $6500 move turned into just over $10,000.00 and with all of my belongings what was I to do! We were so happy to be done and not have to deal with this company anymore. Don't let the Inital quote fool you.

They provided with the worst costumer service I've ever received from a US company. Didn't answer phone calls, extremely late delivery before Christmas (quoted from 7-10 business days only for me to receive my stuff after 4 weeks, I thought they had lost my stuff) and EXPENSIVE.! Their estimate was way off what they charged me once they had everything loaded in the Truck... I sure hope others don't fall for these A-holes, they should be put out of business.

If I could give negative stars I would. I suggest using ANY OTHER service available, including doing it yourself. It's cheaper to give away your belongings and buy new stuff compared to all of their hidden costs. The person AMY who "sold" me the experience lied about the estimate and once the crew was at my place and all of our belongings were outside and our backs were to the wall the price more than doubled. (we HAD to move out that Day). They advertised special packaging for TV movement and they just threw moving blankets over ours and taped boxes around them. I called the home office concerned about this and was brushed me off. "our team are professionals". I'm terrified from what all the other reviews have said. Oh that's right ... We are STILL waiting for delivery. Then the salesperson AMY was never available again (she won't respond to emails and they refused to put me through to her) and their useless warehouse team treated my family like crap over the phone. Rude rude rude. TAMMY "manager" was useless and promised to call me back (never happened) to see if any adjustments could be made to their rip off price. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this horrific experience and am filing a grievance with The Department of Consumer Affairs. Scam artists. It is sad that such a stressful experience like moving cross country is made so much worse by these charlatans. SHAME ON THEM.

Best experience! My husband and I have worked with many movers and America's Moving Company sent two very efficient and professional movers! We would recommend them to anyone over anyone else! Thanks guys for all your hard work! Angel and Ivan were awesome! Intelligent thoughtful guys! Would recommend them 10stars!

Worst mistake I've ever made in my life! They lost all my winter clothes, my baby's high chair, car seat, coffee table. I remember when the guys were unloading stuff to my new home, they brought in couple of stuff that did not belong to me. I should've noticed then. I am beyond upset. I'm warning you people! Do not use this company! Pay little bit more and get the right moving company.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER !!!! This company should not even be in business... They have noooo clue what customer service is and does not care one bit about their customers once they take your money.
They were sooo helpful with getting me set up and setting up the pick up. They answer every question quickly and do what they can to real you in, they make you feel like you can trust them and your belongings are safe in their hands .... Once my belongings were in their possession that all changed.
It took over a month to finally receive my belongings as they kept saying there was delays in the drivers route. They would say I would have my stuff by a specific date and then take several days after that day comes and goes to return my emails as I called every day with no answer and when they finally do they just push you off another week to go threw the same thing over and over again.
Not only do I have a whole lot of damaged items I also have several missing items. Almost every one of my boxes were busted, some taped back together with stuff hanging out, plastic containers with NO lids and not knowing what's missing. It looks like they just threw my boxes around and did not care about my stuff bI have full boxes of stuff and several furniture items that is flat out missing all together and all they would tell me was "this is why you have insurance" ... Really, when their representative specifically told me I really did not need to purchase the extended insurance but there was the standard insurance included in my quote. When calling the insurance company (not threw them) will only pay $12 total per missing box (they do not care what all is in that box but only pays $12) and they determine what the weight of my furniture items are and only pay penny's per pound and won't do anything with everything else that's missing as I do not have original purchase receipts... Really, you lost or stole my items and expect me to have every receipt from every item I have purchased in my life?? I also had antiques that were past down generations, there is no receipt for those. The items that broke in my boxes are NOT covered by this insurance either as "I boxed the items in the box myself" when I was told to have everything ready for the movers and they suggest using large boxes to put all the small or loose items in.
They do not care one bit that my stuff is missing and damaged. I will never use this company or anyone affiliated with this horrible company ever again. It's hard to trust a company that moves your belongings across the states and this one is careless with your priceless items. When they store your stuff for you it's not in your own unit or room, but it's in a open wear house with everyone else's. This is how they also had other people's belongings in my lot, no telling how many people out there are missing their stuff as I had to tell them on several items that it was not mine and they set it aside and took it with them. I did received someone else's side bed rails, not mine, so my entire sleigh bed set is useless as someone else out in this worlds has received mine and I have there's. I can't stress enough how bad this company is .... Do NOT use this company unless you want to have missing, stolen and broken items with no sympathy or remorse for their customers and how they operate a horrible dishonest company and screw honest customers out of their hard earned money!!!
I finally settled for less then $200 to finally be done with this whole experience and after several months of waiting for this check or a call back from all my messages I get told that if I remove my review they will give me a little more money .. REALLY?? Now I know where their bad reviews are going, they are paying their unhappy customers to remove them!!
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

So far I have had nothing but horrible service from this company!! Our scheduled pick up date was the 20th of July after THEIR sales rep had me change it from the 30th so we would have our belongings here in Pennyvania by the 3rd of August the latest. Well the 3rd came around and nothing from this company, I called them to figure out what was going in and after being hung up on, having to call back numerous times, and speaking with a "manager" Rachel, FINALLY spoke with a women who informed me that ALL my belongings are still in California. A rep told my husband that we were going to be made a VIP customer and they would pull a driver to deliver our things. I emailed and a customer service emailed Tammy another manager yesterday and still have yet to receive any calls from them!!! Worst mistake ever was going with this company to move our things!!!!! And we still don't have our belongings as I type this!!! I have even called the company today and still nothing from them!!!! They said they have 21 business days to deliver my belongings, and 30 days including the weekends!!!!! Worst customer service ever!!!! Worst experience ever!!!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
