Unfriendly to non Ukrainian customers. Walked in the store and the two girls working there didn’t even acknowledge me. One of them finally looked at me only to give me a nasty look. Smh!

I’ve been going to this store for a while now and it never disappoints! The most amazing variety of fresh food and bakery. They have delicious cakes too!The owners are two sisters from Mariupol and the store is pro Ukrainian not like a lot of neighborhood “Eastern European” stores so if you want to show support, shop here! Stuff is always nice and helpful! And try their delicious borsch ?Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, my husband is vegan and he likes couple of Theo salads and their vegan borsch!

I was happy to discover a Ukrainian-speaking store in LA that proudly distinguishes itself from Russian identity. The delicious food adds to the overall delight of your discovery. It sounds like you've stumbled upon a gem of cultural and culinary experiences!

The worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life. Bought a couple of their salads and I've been dying for 2 days.I'm afraid this place doesn't really care about their customers but only about their income.

Borscht - is a Ukrainian national cuisine. Correct the menu please it's not russian. The place itself is very outdated and "Soviet union vibes" which doesn't look attractive to me.

Great selection of food and friendly service. 2 small tables inside or you can takeaway from the deli.

I am a regular customer at this establishment, but during my last visit, I bought some food and a round, brown ball-shaped cookie with rum that contained a hard-shelled nut. When I bit into the cookie, I broke my tooth. I am sure that fixing my broken tooth will be very expensive. I am very disappointed that the establishment is not more careful about what they put in their food. Please be careful when buying food from there, as the same thing could happen to you. I am sharing this experience with everyone so that I can potentially save someone's tooth from being damaged.

Just stopped by to look and had to leave with a stuffed cabbage roll. It was so delicious! The case was full of delicious looking deli items that I’ll have to stop in for another time. The stroganoff was calling my name. Very friendly staff and welcoming of someone who hadn’t been in before.

This is my favorite East European food store. Always freaks and yam. Staff are friendly and always ready to help.

I really didn’t want to write this review - but my last interaction with them made me finally do it.I have been a customer for a while both in this and Hollywood locations- and have referred numerous customers to them over the years. However, on multiple occasions I would come home and discover that certain items would be missing in the bag that they would pack for me. Every time I called to let them know - they would always say that they forgot to put it - but no worries- I was not charged for it.The problem is the receipts they give you are not itemized which is not ethical- and you can never find which items you actually bought and how much they are as it only gives you a number of items and the prices. I continued shopping there despite these glitches because I like their products, however recently I purchased a lot of products there and before I left I asked them to dbl check that all my food was packaged properly and that I have all items . She confirmed I had all products in. When I got home - I again discovered that certain product - that they sliced for me- was not in my bags. I called them and stated the facts and the response was -Well, if it was sliced , then you paid for it and it means you have itToo bad that they would take a position of accusing the customer of basically lying about something that keeps happening on the regular basis. Very disappointing

Delicious! Wide selection from stuffed peppers to stroganoff, fried chicken or fish cutlets, and a large selection of salads: cabbage, carrot, beet to name a few. Also a small pastry selection with apple or cherry turnovers some cakes and puddings. I tried a chicken cutlet; excellent when heated in my air fryer. I got the grated carrot salad, which is grated carrots. It had at least double the amount of salt it would need for my taste. - I typically don’t use salt when I cook at home for health reasons. - I mixed it with additional vegetables I had on hand. It’s also spicy with cayenne. The beet and bean (red kidney beans) salad is fantastic! It’s hearty but light and refreshing. The cabbage salad also is absolutely delicious. It is shavings of red peppers, grated orange carrots, slices of cabbage, ribbons of yellow peppers, and other fresh green bits with wonderful seasoning. The beef for the stroganoff is just delicious. A deep flavor. Nice cut of beef, and the mushroom gravy that goes with it is some thing you won’t forget and will come back for more! They do have prepared mashed potatoes, and some bulgur as well that you could choose to take home with you to go with the beef stroganoff. - The customer service is absolutely stellar! Sweet, kind, patient and helpful. I got small size container of three salads, at $4.50-ish each, a chicken cutlet, a fish cutlet, beef for beef stroganoff and the mushroom gravy that goes with it (which I ate over farro) and a cherry turnover for $45
