The location is always clean and secure. I’ve been here about a year and am very pleased with the experience. Also, Donna has been friendly and very helpful.I’m glad I picked this spot!

I rented an outdoor space for my snowmobiles and a boat. In July of 2022 my 1990 Ultra was stolen along with 2 other outdoor customers jet skis and boat. The thieves came into the storage during the day using the code of a delinquent customer. The 3 thefts took place during a 3 day period without the storage facility management knowing. Nobody at Toyon storage was aware until the calaveras sheriff's department found one of the boats on new hogan lake and contacted the owners. Since atleast a week went by, it was next to impossible to track the thieves. Donna the owner of toyon storage told me she wouldn't help if I went public.

Donna and Stewart provide a well maintained facility. The units are spacious and kept in great shape. We had our stuff in storage for 2.5 years. Donna and the team never bothered us for payments. I would recommend anyone looking for storage to use Toyon Smart Storage.

Great facility, friendly. Clean, secure, very accommodating.I highly recommend! I didn’t lock my door correctly which left it unsecured, they called me to let me know and then provided me with a better lock to secure it with.Wonderful people, very affordable.Thank you.

I would like to say thank you to Donna and the team at Toyon self storage. Their facility is top notch and they were very attentive and helpful. I had a sticky roll up door on my unit and they fixed it with a brand new door the very next day. Highly recommend them for any storage needs!

Donna and her staff were wonderful people to deal with. The storage facility was nice and clean, as well as appeared to be very secure. We have this place on our list of places to store our camper when we spend time in California with family. Prices are real reasonable compared to some other facilities, and again, the customer service provided by Donna and her staff is awesome.

I have used Toyon Smart Storage for almost three years, and they have always been easy to work with as well as flexible with my needs! They are alert, attentive and very clean with their units. Highly recommend.

Donna (owner) was very polite, professional, and accommodated our need to store our boat for a few days. Price was very reasonable and we felt our boat would be safe due to the gated entry and cameras around the property. It was also a convenient distance to the lakes in the area.

Donna(owner) @ Toyon Smart Storage goes ubove & beyond being a professional business owner. We rented as shown below a 10*20 unit, for 2½ years. Donna is understanding, helpful, patient, down to earth human being. She's a special person whom you don't run across very often anymore in these days & times, especially running a business. Thank you so very much Donna for ALL that you had helped us with. I am going to miss renting a storage unit from you.

When I chose to rent from this facility it was because of 2 things:1- gated with cameras2- 24/7 accessNow there is no more 24hr access. This is not right. There is a gate with security cameras, code access but now we can't access our stuff whenever we need to.
