“The Artspace Warehouse staff were welcoming and answered all of our questions when we visited the gallery in December. The artwork on display represented a variety of styles and media - I'm looking forward to visiting again. When we decided to buy and have the artwork shipped the staff was super helpful again. We really enjoyed our artwork purchasing experience at Artspace Warehouse in Los Angeles!”

“Hector and his family are the best in the valley. Every project I bring them turns out fantastic. The skill and artistry for framing is amazing. They have done every piece of artwork and family photo in my house. The prices are very reasonable and they are so great.I've done photo collages, shadow boxes of glasses and collectibles, and canvases done. They do it all and everything they make becomes a family heirloom.”

“For years, MindfulNest has been my go-to spot for unique and thoughtful gifts. Amanda, the owner, curates a beautiful selection of cards, jewelry, art pieces, and trinkets – there's always something special for everyone on my list. Last weekend, I dashed into MindfulNest in a last-minute card frenzy, only to realize I'd left my wallet at home. I explained my predicament to Amanda, hoping she'd put the card on hold for me. To my astonishment, she smiled and said, "Just take it and bring me the money next time you're in!" I was floored! This act of kindness cemented my loyalty to MindfulNest more than ever. It's not just a store; it's a place where genuine connections and community thrive.”

“First time visiting the store and got some great deals! Very nice and friendly staff. They also had a great clearance area where I managed to find some Schmincke soft pastels for $1 a stick, just WOW! Nice Velour papers and plenty of pastel pencils to choose from. I was also very happy that nice girl waiting on me packaged up all my loose pencils and pastels very nicely in small boxes. My new go to art store... Susan Kashimiri suekashart@instagram”

“Always hosts exciting events and artists. There is a clear intelligence and humor behind the choices. In a world where many top galleries became a garage sale dumping ground of unremarkable famous name works (no one wanted at home any more but werent good enough for museums), ageless Mr Deitch always pulls in the hottest stuff around. Always my first stop in LA.Apologies, Nadia Lee Cohen for swerving any nipple bans here. Old pic. Same fun, smart place.”

“UTA's Artist Space is a very nice gallery space for exhibiting paintings and such. I've been there several times and the production and professionalism is always top tier.”

“Highly recommend working with Brentwood Art & Framing. Richard was a pleasure to work with, provided his advice on how best to display our piece, and turned around our project in less than a couple weeks. We are incredibly happy with the finished product, and look forward to coming back for future needs!”

“St. Elmo Village is a place I've been to honestly all my life! My dad Louie Spears was a jazz bassist and i remember always going to St. Elmo Village in the 70's amd 80's to hear dad and other jazz greats play as a child. Art and music-both healing. This is a healing place. Vibrant colors. Amazing plants. Beautiful art. I feel guilty that i haven't taken my children there all these years for art classes. We'll be visiting soon! SUPPORT THE ARTS!”

“Parking: free and plenty on the lot of Brand park.Beautiful, old building with Moorish architecture. The library is only for art and music books/CDs. It's part of the city of Glendale library.About 1/2 the building is library, the rest is a modern art gallery and small theater.Definitely worth a visit if your in the area”

“Alex is hands down THE best salesperson at any prop house I’ve been to. Any shopper will know that these long days, multitasking on our feet, and answering a million emails at once while scouring the shelves of a prop house can be overwhelming. Alex always meets you with a smile and a fantastic sense of humor, all while being so professional and accommodating. I was in and out of Alpha in less than an hour with all my questions answered and more! I can’t wait for my next visit. We <3 Alpha Medical!”

“Visited during the Derrick Adams "Come as you are" exhibition. Loved the spaciousness of this gallery. Conveniently located. Will definitely return for future exhibitions and I look forward to checking out the other locations.”

“Very cool and easy to get to gallery. Seems mostly focused on street art or modern art. Saw the Mister Cartoon exhibit there which was super cool. Great pieces well laid out. Looking forward to whatever is there next to go back.”

“Came here for Mathieu Bitton's Paris Blues Q/A artist talk on 2/25/24. What an incredible artist, photographer, designer, producer, and grammy winner. He shared marvelous stories of his upbringing in Paris, venturing to flea markets, buying up rare vinyl records, and his love for Prince. He spoke about moving to Los Angeles at age 14 to be with his mother and being immersed in the LA culture. He also touched on him moving to New York to attend NYU boarding school. This is where his career really blossomed. As of right now, Mathieu Bitton has designed over 1000 LPs and CDs. He is a world-renowned collector of Black films. He has worked with and photographed many celebrities and recording artists. He was recently given a grammy for his work with Dave Chappelle. What truly amazing life stories. We had an amazing time with an amazing person. Can not wait for the book signing!”

“I felt like I was in a strange, different dimension, beyond just having good taste. However, the woman at the reception is very kind and there is a warm atmosphere. When I was having trouble finding a way to get home, he called me a taxi.”

“A fabulous space, housing a remarkable collection of pieces. We are big fans of lowbrow art and vinyl toys, and came from out of the city to visit. The owner graciously toured us around his collection, giving us history and answering our questions. They're hosting an event next month, I'm sure it will be just as great!”

“Filming a commercial here today so I guess they rent out the space to film shoots even though it's listed as a furniture/décor store. The inside is painted all white and has pretty unique structural/architectural accents. A bunch of beams line the ceiling, alcoves along the sides with skylights to let natural light in. There's also a full kitchen so you can potential throw a pretty nice dance party here! Just a thought :)”

“Torii and her team at the Picture Framing Co. helped me create a beautiful anniversary gift. It involved pulling illustrations from a book and cutting and spacing them to very specific dimensions. I am a novice when it comes to custom framing and didn't really know where to begin, but Torii took her time pulling out various frames and background options until we found the perfect combination of elements that matched the aesthetic of the artwork, and also worked with my budget. I needed the piece completed relatively quickly, and PFC gave me a reasonable expectation of when it would be done, and had the piece ready in time. I can't wait to bring more pieces to Torii and her team.”

“My kids have been going to Modestfly for 5 years now. They absolutely love it! The teachers there are so caring and good at what they do. It's a wonderful environment to be in to get your creative juices flowing. The owner Eerren is always there to welcome you with a big smile. She's super sweet and very involved with everything.”

“I’ve had a studio here since I moved to LA in 2020 and I love the vibe! There’s a lot of artists that work here, and honestly some of the best artists I know! I feel honored to be a part of this community and to have my own creative space. The owners/managers are the sweetest human beings and really care about the artists who are a part of Cope. 100% recommend!”

“I am at a 4.5 but rounding up for all the amazing shows in past years. I love, love, love this place for decades, I don't particulaly love the last few shows. I am a low brow art dan and this gallery has exposed me (through the years) to some the most famous and also lesser known but amazing talents in this space. Art is subjective but when art looks like my 6 yo niece has more artistic merit than some of the artists of late (see Oct 2023 show for context), you lose credibility. The quality of artists on exhibition has gone way down since reopening after nearly a 1.5 year lockdown/semi lockdown (minus the Everything but the Kitchen Sync show).I still enjoy shopping the best curation of niche art books and trinkets, etc.. I guarantee you will not get such a diverse range of small run books in CA. In the event you see a book there, buy it because you support the store AND you may not find it anywhere else. I personally always shop local for just this reason. Buying books online is soulless. You enter La Luz and you are in another realm. There is quite literally a category for everyone. I always make time in my visit to browse (also buy). Great place to shop for your friends and family with more eclectic tastes. Very unlikely that anything you gift here will be given by someone else. Lots of affordable and UNIQUE gifts. You would be hard pressed not to find something for everyone here!***Extra points if you visit and catch a glimpse of Billy Shire in all his incognito greatness. The third photo is sooo kisch that I had to post.”

“It was a fantastic haircut. I had no worries when the barber was cutting my son's hair since he did it professionally.Thank you for treating us as though we were family.”

“Truly the best in town. Expert-level craftsmanship is just the tip of the iceberg. I always look forward to bringing them new pieces to frame because the whole process is a blast. Therese and co. take a genuine interest in what you're looking for and make it a fun, collaborative, creative effort. As far as price, I actually find them pretty reasonable. Custom framing is expensive wherever you go (and if it's cheap then you need to seriously investigate why), but I've paid a lot more at other places for frames that weren't half as good as Willging's. Just bring your stuff here!”

“I’ve had only good experiences with Clark’s. I’ve bought several items in several auctions, online and in person. I’ve also bought other items from around the country and shipping is almost always expensive, regardless of distance or purchase price. The most important factors are size and weight. So you might get a great deal for $200 but if it’s a large item and you’re not local, you might pay $200 shipping- not because you’re being ripped off, but because it’s a large or heavy item and that’s what it costs to pack and ship.”

“They are a great seller through Amazon but as a company they go above and beyond to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. I accidentally ordered the wrong item, I called and emailed the next day to see if I could get the item I wanted substituted. I was friend greeted friendly and professionally to check into my request, they followed up with by email. Not only did they make the switch as courtesy to me but they were still able to get the item shipped promptly that day. I will most definitely order from again and recommend them to others.”
