“When you need something very specific, this is the place to go. They always have the brand of tequila and agave syrup that I prefer. It can be a little pricey, but the great selection is worth it.”
“We were running errands and stopped in to pick up some snacks for the road when we saw the deli tucked away in the corner of the store. They had an impressive variety of meats, cheeses and breads. We ordered our custom sandwiches and they were done in less than 10 min! They were so loaded and tasty ? Totally worth it . I wish they had some place for us to sit and eat it though. Kinda tough to eat it in our car. You really needed both hands to hold onto it.”

“I remember this store being an Alpha Beta in the 70's, thus being, it's old and small, lacking the modern conveniences you find today in most supermarkets. There is no deli, bakery, fresh cut fruit. I shop here often and find most of the employees nice and friendly, and some that completely lack personality. The meat department is excellent, can't say the same for the seafood.”
“I've been in a couple times and they've been nothing but nice and had what I was looking for ready to go and at a reasonable price. One time I actually got to the counter and rang up and the dude working there told the woman ringing me up "Oh, that one says $24 but it's $19 right now, it should be marked down", he didn't need to, just a solid honest gesture. Really bad Mexican soap opera blaring on the TV but hey that's part of the charm.”

“Awesome tiger trail and outpost at the Safari park. Good place to stop and catch your breath and cool off from the heat. We like to just walk around and look at the little shop inside. There are also good clean bathrooms nearby.”

The cars in the barn are particularly forlorn with debris inside them, flat tires... they are housed, but not well taken care of, which is a crying shame. as if someone just decided to give up on them. still, nice enough place to visit.”

“My favorite liquor store to pick up craft beer in East Escondido, selection might not be as good as the other "craft beer " spot across the street but prefer the service and prices from this spot hands down. Good selection of hazies/NE IPA's and other styles as well. Definitely recommend if you're in this side of town and looking for some brews.”
