SCAM ALERT! This place will scam you for every penny they can. Do not trust this place with your vehicle. They are dishonest and clearly break laws when it comes to the tow service. If your car is towed by this company they will not report it to the police department (vehicle code section 22658) therefore resulting in extra storage fees. My car was towed on 3/21 and I called every police department to try and find my car and this tow company did not report the tow. It wasn't until 2 weeks later on April 4th that I received a letter from the tow company. The law states the tow company must notify law enforcement it has your vehicle and is in transit to a storage facility. AUTOMOTIVE SPECIALISTS LLC DOES NOT CONPLY WITH THIS LAW AND IS SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN STORAGE FEES. Do not support this business! leginfo.legislature.ca.g….

Needed a special-order car battery same-day. They had it in for me within hours, and then had me in and out of there within 20 minutes on a Friday. Great experience and will be going there again.

These guys are good. Ford of Poway wouldn't repair the knock sensor of my RV engine for fear that the cost would skyrocket. Automotive Specialists disassembled the engine and replaced the bad components for a third of what the Ford company was asking. I would trust any engine repair to Automotive specialists. I took my car here about a week ago for a flat tire. It's important to note that this business is under new ownership, and I had a really good experience. Service was immediate, and the owner and staff were very friendly and professional. They did a thorough job finding the cause of my flat and fixing it without the need for a new tire. I believe the name of the man who worked specifically on my tire was Martin. He did a great job! The owner, Hector, was hands-on and involved in the whole process, which I appreciate. The cost was very affordable as well. They even helped me safely navigate on and off of the nearby road. I have been driving on that tire for more than a week now, and I have zero issues. I'll definitely be coming back when my car needs maintenance!

Staff and owner takes time to put in the extra effort to show clients a more personable experience, really made me feel welcome and that my concerns were cared about. Staff even stayed late because they knew I was traveling there on a donut tire and cared more about my safety then punching out at closing time! Very happy with the service and pricing here! Definitely recommend!

The service was great, however that's where it ended. The way they explain their charges is not the best. I ended up paying nearly double than usual for just a basic oil change. I have never paid an "oil change service fee" in addition to the actual oil change.

We took my husband’s work van in last week. They told us it would be done in a few hours. Three days and $877 later we finally got the van back. Today the van would not start. We had it towed back and now we are being told it will be another $750 to complete more repairs!!! NOT COOL. We will not be taking our vehicles back to this repair shop!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

While I have not yet tried this business (Still reading reviews), I felt compelled to add additional info to one of the previous reviews. Lauren Rinehart, who left a 1-star review, works in her family's competing Auto Repair Shop in nearby Ramona. Her review appears to play to the fears/stereotypes that the older generations are burdened with, and I suspect it to be a total fabrication. If I were the owners of this establishment, I would be considering a defamation lawsuit against Lauren Rinehart, who has bared her low character for the world to see.
