They take at least 2 weeks to make a propane deliveryThey never answer the phone unless I say that i want to become a new customerTo order propane you have to do it on there automated System. And they never disclose the price of propane per gallon delivered. I called 2 weeks ago and took me more than 15 minutes to get a human voice.I was quoted $4.11 per gallon And mentioned we take 2 weeks to deliver that route once I told them my location here in valley center About six miles from there yardI called there competitors I was quoted 2.39 per gallonDelivered .They sent a technician from 30+ miles away and he was here 2 days after I calledThe following day they installed there tank I notified valley center propane there services and tank were no longer needed.And it's going to take almost a month to come get there tank away from my house . I believe in supporting my local community But a 400.00 dollar savings on 200 gallon tank is a lot For senior citizen like me . By the way they will try to apply a penalty fee if you run out of propane or if you do not use enough propane I hope someone reads this from there stock holders and they do something to improve and provide better service along with competitive prices.

Could not express enough how I would never ever use this company again. After a year of reporting a leak to them they finally confirmed it was in fact leaking but refused to do anything about it. In fact I called multiple times a week for a month and was told only a manager could help me. However the manager never ever called me back. I switched to a new company that was responsive and helpful. I had to practically beg Valley Center Propane to come get their tank. The still never called me back and I only discovered that I was scheduled when I called them to check the status. This company is bad news!

I consider myself a reasonable person and this is The first 1 star review I have left. In short our tank went to zero, which i acknowledge was my error, fill it at 30%, lesson learned... however when i called to get my tank filled, under this circumstance, they simply stated they had no availability and did not know when availability will open up, even with emergency fill fee. So I tried to get another company to fill my tank and they were available same day but they needed written permission from ferral gas to fill it up. So when I called to get written permission they stated under no circumstance will they provide Written permission to another company to fill my tank up. I explained that christmas was a week away, they don't have anyone to fill it now, i have a 2 year old thats telling me how cold she is and my family flying is flying in from Chicago and again you're company has noone to help me, and their response verbatim was "i put myself in this situation". I was a bit shocked and asked her again "so you're telling me you can't guarantee my tank will be filled by Christmas in a week but what you can guarantee me is that you will not allow any other company to fill my tank no matter how long it takes, and they said Yes that's correct.

The best thing I can say about this service is that those answering the calls for them are friendly. I called on a Thursday , requesting delivery because someone left the jacuzzi on and my propane was between 5 and 10%. Heard nothing the following day or all week end(which I didn't really expect) . I called again bright and early Monday, the representative telling me she needed to hear back form the scheduler and would call me soon. At 4:45, I still had heard nothing, made another call, spoke to yet another rep and was told that the scheduler had neither posted or responded to the calls they had put in. I realize that it was our fault we ran out, but this is our source for heat, cooking, clothes drying etc. We've been at about 8% for days and no one has the courtesy to even respond to the customer service calls??? Seriously bad form. It would have been nice if I was even allowed to put in for an "emergency" fill but , no one would even answer the cust reps. inquiries. I feel sorry for them because they have to deal with the public. The scheduler either needs help or maybe another job.

I called on a Wednesday to put the order for delivery, took my payment over the phone and told me the delivery would be there either Thursday or Friday!!!! I checked my talk Friday afternoon and my delivery never got there we only had 30% . Called the company they don't even answer the phone and when they finally answer told that my delivery was scheduled for two weeks after. I am very dissatisfied with this company. They can careless after collecting payment.. would never recommend it to no one.....

I've been waiting for 2 weeks for propane. Tues, Jan 5, they went down my street and past me by. So much for getting propane when the driver is in the neighborhood!!!

Yikes, a company to avoid. Just got a bill for $200.01 for "non usage" even though we have paid $50 a year for the last 28 years. This bill does not include the $55 tank rental, it's for non usage since we rarely use propane but need it for a standby in case of power outages. What a rip
