I've been trying to secure my Verizon account from unauthorized fraudulent access and hacks for two years and I've been unsuccessful. They absolutely do not care about your privacy, your content or anything having to do with security. Their fraud team is rude and absolutely incompetent, and will not help you secure your data. They do not care that cyber theft is a federal offense and could be prosecuted by up to 20 years in prison. Your data is not safe with Verizon . The government should open an investigation into Verizon and their Refusal to protect proprietary Customer data.

Horrible customer experience. I stopped by to upgrade my phone. As others have said, locked door, approached by security guard who told me where to stand. Then manager comes out and asks for my phone number and what car I’m driving. I asked what this was all about and he said it was for safety. I asked if I was in any danger and he said no. It’s for their safety. He told me that every Verizon in Northern California is doing this and I need to wait in my car. I asked how long it will be? He says 10-15 minutes. Okay, I waited more than 45 minutes and then left for lunch. I’m now done with lunch and got a text saying I’m next in line. 30 minutes later I’m at home and still nothing.Called Pleasant Hill store and they said they don’t make you wait outside or in your car. So it doesn’t look like it’s all of Northern California, just Vallejo.Verizon, you should just close the store in Vallejo. You obviously don’t want to do business here.

Horrible customer experience. I stopped by to drop off my old phone as part of a trade-in. Front doors were locked. A security guard approached me outside and told me to stand in a specific spot on the sidewalk. A manager then came out, asked for my phone number, said they were unable find my trade-in, and I’d need to wait outside for 30 minutes. I left and went to the Pleasant Hill store for a much better experience. Do not go to this store!

Grabbed a bite to eat close by with my family and decided to go upgrade my phone here after. Unfortunately, I was unable to even enter the store and was told 2 people were ahead of me in line and the wait time was 1 hr just to enter the store and make my final decision on a phone. ONE HOUR? REALLY? No thanks. I'll just get it online. It's GHETTO out here and smash and grabs have ruined the retail experience for the regular shopper. Do yourself a favor and skip this Verizon.

I had a wonderful experience with Kahala - professional, kind & knowledgeable. My dad is in the hospital and his cellphone isn't working (his provider is a nightmare). I needed to add a 2nd line and phone to my plan so my dad could speak/text with out-of-state relatives. Kahala quickly helped me get a phone & 2nd line added to my plan during this very stressful time.

Unhelpful. Went in with a phone with an antenna problem and the only solution they offered was to buy a new phone. This phone isn't very old.

Don't go in if you're short on time. I had a mix up with trade in process where the only way to get it resolved was go in and get in person support. They have a wait time it's best to just schedule a time good for you. I will be coming in person for every phone upgrade, just better seeing the phone in person and getting live feedback.

The communication between employees and management is laced. What one employee tells you the next day nobody knows anything about your issue and why your returning for an appointment. I was told to take my phone to Best Buy and have them run a diagnostic on it. Turns out the Best Buy I was told to go to does not even service Samsung phones...and still no one can tell me why I can get service on Mint mobile when my Verizon shows no service at the exact same time and place.

My company sent a Verizon iPhone14 to replace my AT&T iPhone8. All went fine until the eSIM activation because the Verizon transfer system went down (about 36 hours) Well when it came up I tried again and was stuck with two phones without cell service. Went in and explained my situation and she told me I would have to wait over an hour, so like a chump I did, I need cell service for my job. Then it came my turn and the same woman who checked me in said " oh I'm sorry we can't do that you have to talk to your IT department". Which I replied "isn't there someone else here who can handle this" and she said " I'm the one who has been here the longest and know the most. Arrrrg. Later over by my work I decided to try the Verizon store in Corte Madera. I waited 5 minutes for Carlos to finish with a customer and he understood my situation, got on his iPad looked trough my corporate account to find the eSIM number and wam-bam I got cell coverage within 10 minutes. Bottom line is, not all customer reps are the same, and I'll never go back to Vallejo Verizon if my life depended on it. IDIOTS that only know how to sell you stuff.

This applies only to the Vallejo Verizon store, not on Verizon customer service or tech help online or landline. We had new smart phones that did not function correctly. The phones were fine. It was a set of issues caused by Verizon staff at remote sites who made changes that destroyed our long term accounts to the point they would not function. The technical expert here was clearly the manager, Samantha. There were so many issues with our account that she had to spent considerable time over 3 different days sorting it out. Not only was she patient with us as she balanced working on our issues, but also greeting arriving customers and monitoring her employees to insure everyone was performing at a high level. Honestly, I was incredibly impressed and appreciative. I understand enough to be aware of how frustrating this had to be for Samantha but she never once allowed that stress to show.I will add that my wife and I made a point of arriving early in the day when it was quieter. There is no doubt that helped us not have to wait to be helped and I'd suggest to anyone needing service to arrive early in the day if you can. In terms of the issues that required so much time to resolve that's entirely on Verizon online and their customer service setup. TERRIBLE. From what I can determine Verizon has software issues, but more important, their cs staff and tech people are at best INEPT. During the course of a failed phone and changing over to new smart phones the cs landwire people managed to screw my account up so badly that it took several hours for their smart, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable manager at the Vallejo facility to finally sort our issues out. This never should have happened. On the other hand Verizon still has the best real world coverage and that has kept me a customer for decades. I hope they will improve their customer service via www and landline, as that is what they push customers to do when experiencing issues. Last, this review is specific to their manager, Samantha. I hope Verizon corporate appreciates her. Without her I'm not sure we would still be Verizon customers.

I was told by online customer service rep that I can get help with retuning items at this corporate store. When I got this store the staff and manager(female) were telling me different story saying that they can't help with return. They were both were very rude and the manager resisted to help with online order return. I explained that I was confirmed by customer service rep that store team can accept and help but the store manager kept saying that you need to call costumer service again. I requested if she can call them for me to verify but she insisted that she won't do it for me. She told me "You should call and speak to the customer service". She didn't show any intention to help or to respond to my request. And when I brought up the conflicting information the staff was telling me, she responded "You don't understand what I was saying" instead of trying to listen carefully on customer's point and clarifying the conflicting info. In a better way. The staff was directly blaming on customer although her answer was definitely conflicting and confusing. This poor service from store manager truly proved me why I needed to cancel any services from Verizon.
