I dropped my vacuum off on Jan 8. I was told 3 days for the repair. I called multiple times between Jan 12 and January 24. When someone did answer, I was told the vacuum was waiting for a part. As of Feb 24, I do not have my vacuum and haven't heard about the repair. I went out and purchased a new vacuum. If you drop your vacuum off for repair, you will never see it again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Simple hose replacement, no communication from them. They have my vacuum and every few days I call for an update or when it might be done... nothing, two weeks, nothing. Dude trying to keep my vacuum instead of just replacing a 10" hose, no mystery repair or anything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Store front is never open to go get your stuff back either. By now I could've bought the proper tools and parts to do the repair myself, so much for supporting local businesses. LAME.

I took my cherished 35 yr old Bernina 910 sewing machine into a local Sewing & Vacuum retail/repair location and was told it wasn't repairable; without opening it up, they suspected that the transformer was blown and replacement parts are not available. I was shown new machines to purchase but desperately wanted mine repaired. I went to another Sew & Vac retail/repair and they said I'd hear from their repair person within 2 weeks. Daryl called to say the capacitor was blown and he had the replacement part from an old machine. I now have my machine back - tuned, cleaned, and running ever so smoothly! Masterful! Thanks, Daryl.

Owner Daryl is a true master! He loves and knows his art. He's been doing this since 1972. He is one of those geniuses who has a gifted talent for mechanical things and how to assess, evaluate, fix and repair them! I found a vintage sewing machine online and others would have dumped it in Goodwill and then it would have ended up in the landfill, broken and destroyed. Darrel explained how this machine is worthy of being repaired - and that is admirable. He has a full retail store with new appliances and does full service repair and he also has used and vintage machines fully repaired to sell at a good price too. He does all his own work, you'll get the master's touch yourself! He will fix the one I brought in and make it like new again.Thank you Daryl! PS attached is the before photo, it will be attached again to it's vintage table cabinet it drops down into.

Just left this place and the man was very nice! Thought I only needs belts, well after I looked at what my brushed on the roller bar should look like bought new bar. Hey even gave me a free bag, very nice of him, he wanted me to get my house clean. Very Thankful he mention the roller brush! I just finished the vacuuming the one rug, OMG was way easier, and looked so much better than befor the belt broke. Them new brushes and new bag and belt almost made it fun to vacuum. He knew more about my situation than I did. Thank goodness, will not hesitate to ask for help for anything sewing or vacuuming.

Crackhead mentally business owner, quoted $35.00 for a cord repair and a 2 day time frame. Which turned into 4 day $65.00 situation, where he refused to release my property until it was paid. He never called to ask for permission to continue repair once he decided price would be increased. Unfair business practices and this isn't over as far as I'm concerned!

I needed the battery replaced in my Dyson animal V7 plus. I bought the parts on Amazon. But turned out the job was much too complicated for me to replace the battery. I took it to Darrell and with his 50 years of experience he had it ready the next day! Tuned up and cleaned. I couldn't be happier! Thank you Darrell!

Daryl was so professional and knew what was wrong with my sewing machine right away. Not only did I appreciate his professionalism, his knowledge was immense. He fixed my machine on the same day within 2 hours! I teased him by saying he can't retire. I have been as far as Folsom to fix my machine. When I said I was being selfish, he said, "yes, you were". He even gave me a free tool at no charge! I appreciate Daryl very much. Mamie Newson

I worked with Darryl because our local sewing shop contracts with him and had a great experience. I'm a novice and when I got my sewing machine back from a tune up I was having some new problems and felt frustrated. I called Darryl, and he spent over 15 minutes on the phone with me, walking me through the common mistakes that people make that produce the outcomes I was getting, and guess what? all my issues were user error! (And yes, I totally YouTube and googled this stuff before I called him). He even had me take some photos of my machine and text them to him so he could see I what I was doing. It did take a while, but he's a busy guy running a busy small business, and he was as nice as could be. Thanks, Darryl!

I have a warranty repair on a robot vacuum. I called and talked to the owner who told me over the phone that he does not repair my brand. I asked him if he could provide something in writing to present stating that it can't be fixed. He said that it would be not problem, that I should come down and he would help me out. so I gathered my vacuum and went down there on my lunch hour. When I talked to him in person he said he couldn't help me; I reminded that we had spoken on the phone, he didn't remember. "Can't help you." It took my whole lunch hour to get down there and I came back empty-handed. If you don't want to help, just say so, don't make someone drive all the way over there. Thanks for nothing.
