I bought my Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid anew in 2014 at this Vallejo location and serviced there for many years. However, my transmission got huge problem and got fixed and replaced. It was too expensive, but the Manager Kelby and Jonathan were above and beyond in helping me understand its complexity. The Manager was super nice, friendly and professional. I will recommend my other friends who own Nissan to service at Vallejo department.

I have had the pleasure of having my car serviced at Vallejo Nissan for many many years. I stopped in today to ask about the front license plate frame. Service Advisor Erik Haile and Jonathan Olea took the broken frame off, put a bracket screw and new frame on. That's why I come here EVERY time. They don't send you somewhere else. They take care of you.

Stay far away from Vallejo Nissan. If I could leave a zero star I would. Dropped off my car on Monday 8/14 to have them check tires and the battery because the car wouldn't start and I saw something in the tire poking out and kept getting tire pressure alert. They called and said it all checked out. The battery was fine and they just put air in the tires. Picked up the car Tuesday morning and drove it home. Tried to go out Tuesday afternoon and the car wouldn't start. Had to call them again and get a jump to take it down again. Waited for them to call. They never did so I called after a couple hours and they said the battery was dead. After much back and forth they were caught in a lie! Not only that they didn't even check the tires either because the screw was still there. DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPT AT VALLEJO NISSAN they are crooks who don't know the first thing about

DO NOT COME HERE...if you want honest people. I had to escalate my issue by posting, tagging, and commenting on INSTAGRAM. The official @nissanusa page was the only one who got back to me. Here at Vallejo Nissan, the Service Manager and General Manager both ignored my calls. AND, I fixed all the car problems I was having MYSELF. I simply bought a new filter for less than $20 and installed it in 10 seconds. The thing is though, THERE WAS NO OLD FILTER TO TAKE OUT. The slot was empty. Which means in December when they told me I would need a new filter soon, they deliberately took it out and forced the issues my car was having. But now that the Service Manager was forced to get in touch with me since I escalated things, he denies this happening because he "knows his guys." Well, I know all of you at Vallejo Nissan and I have told everyone else I know, including the entire internet, what you are.

Ever since my warranty expired (I purchased my Nissan Versa in 2020 from this location) whenever I have gone in for an oil change I am told I need much more work done than is necessary. Admittedly, I am female and don't know much about cars, but my dad does and follows the owner's manual to a tee. I spent close to $1200 last time I was there and had lots of different things done I was told I needed. This time, I was again told I needed the tire rotation done, the brake fluid replaced and air filter replaced which I had done 5,000 miles ago. They also said the transmission fluid needed to be replaced for $600 while the car only has 40,000 miles on it and they told me my transmission will stop working if I don't get it done. I have since realized this location will be dishonest about what services you need done in order to make a profit/commission. Unfortunately I will no longer be servicing my car here and cannot recommend it to others.

Don't go there. Incompetent, unprofessional, and plain liars people work in service department. At my first visit my car had a transmission problem. They can't diagnose it , so they told me it is by design. What? At my second visit for the same transmission problem they told me it was made like this for fuel economy by manufacturer. What? Service people assume that customers are stupid and will swallow any BS they will feed them. My Third visit: they invited me to fix emission recall on my car. They made appointment for me at 7.15am and confirmed my car make and model for this recall. When I showed up at 7:15 a.m. at service department I was told that they don't have equipment end trained technicians to do this service and sent me to Vacaville Nissan 30 miles away. Never ever again I will go there

I made an appointment for 7:45 on a Friday morning. Showed up early. I was told for the oil change and tire rotation I was getting would take an hour. 2 hours later I get told from a service person I needed all new tires, brakes, rotors, when first of all nothing was wrong with any of those I just bought the car 6 months prior. I expressed concern and left. As I'm driving to my job which is less than 2 miles away my brakes started grinding and making noise. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with them prior to bringing it to Vallejo Nissan for a complimentary oil change. Needless to say something was done with my vehicle. They had it for 2 hours for an oil change. No I'm sorry. I'm filing a report to the state.

Service turnover is high and it reflects in customer service. Purchased 3 cars, good value, but when it's time to service vehicle, good luck.

I would not recommend this dealership for service nor for sales. However, this review is solely for the service department. I have been to this location on multiple occasions trying to give them the benefit of the doubt each time. This last time was the last straw to where I will never bring my car to this dealership and it has actually pushed me to just sell the car so I don't have to deal with Nissan anymore as a whole. This is an honest account of my experience with this location as it as so bad that I documented each visit. 06/06/20: My first time as I tried them after having a poor experience at another Nissan dealership service department. I should have gotten the hint when they quoted $500 to replace a key fob. The service was an oil change. My notes for the experience says it took three hours for an oil change. 04/26/21: I waited an extra hour because the desk person thought my car was still in the bay, but it was actually parked in the lot. I went back to them again immediately so I could get my car and go. They end up calling me back to bring the car because the technician forgot to change my cabin filter. 04/13/22: I come In for an oil change and for a quote to repair a part that was failing the smog check. I applaud and thanked the desk advisor here for his help and honesty because he suggests I do the work myself if I can because the quote was nearly $500 for installing a less than $20 part. 06/24/22 (today): Arrived at 815am with 8am appt for recall work. I was told when I made the appt that it should take four to five hours. I said no problem. I check on car after four hours and desk advisor says it will take two more hours due to the service process, the number of people ahead of me, and the break/lunch times for the technicians who are performing the work. I said fine. I check in at 2pm and desk advisor says it will take until the end of the day which is three more hours. I had to leave at 3pm to take care of my sick child as I didn't have time to keep waiting in their poor excuse for a lounge. When I left, my car wasn't even in the bay. I assume the technicians are at lunch still. I am writing this in the Lyft that I had to pay for because their free Lyft service only covers Vallejo, Benicia, and American Canyon. I am praying that my car is fixed by the morning and doesn't have any issues. In all honesty, I think we would all be better off going to small business mechanics to take care of our cars. I repeat what I said in the beginning. I will not come to this location again. I am going to sell this car. I don't want to have anything to do with Nissan anymore

I have been buying vehicles from them for 20 years, and I won't change . They have a Customer Service person, K. Pena, who is absolutely the best. She schedules my service appointments and always makes it a personal experience and she is very aware of my work schedule and lack of flexibility. I was in banking for 45 years. I would hire her in a second if I was still working, because of her style and commitment to excellence.
