I went into Ulta, Vallejo today in search of a remedy for an oily scalp. I didn’t get her name, but the lovely lady in the salon in the back of the store was very nice and helpful. She obtained several recommendations from a coworker over the radio for me and left me to make my own decisions given the options I now had. I took my selections to the cash register and asked the cashier, Teresa, for a second opinion on my selections. Not only does she herself deal with an oily scalp, but she’s an esthetician too, so she fine tuned my selections for what would be best, going to the back of the store store for me several times. She went above and beyond and explained the reasons why each product would be better than the other. Amazing service from everyone I dealt with…especially Teresa!

The store is a little messy. I have some friends that work here, so I see the condition of the at least once a week. Also, it looks like some of the employees (not my friends) dislike their jobs enough to not even try. Often, you'll hear non work related conversations to the point they ignore customers.

The only place I ever buy makeup and hair products is Ulta. They have almost everything that you need and you can try it and if it doesn't work out, you can return it love that. Staff is really nice and willing to work with you.

Ney was so great helping me with my exchange ! I love Ulta's policy for exchanging as i have very sensitive skin and sometimes things just don't work for me .

Since you girls decided to go out of your way to give me bad customer service. I will go out of my way to write this review about you and your store. I walked in, no words, any older middle aged woman walking in “HI WELCOME IN!” There was 6 of you employees in this store and not 1 of you could help me out or even talk or approach me lol. Any Middle Aged lady would get asked a few times if they needed anything. You guys selectively choose who you are nice to and who you want to attend and it shows! You intentionally ignored me since I walked in. I wanted to buy a bunch of things but I left because y’all’s vibe was gross. I completely understood why I wasn’t getting helped. Because of some discriminatory point of view. Come on. Regardless of your store getting robbed all the time (which is why I assume you have a security guard in there) you should NOT single people out for any reason. If I noticed that behavior, others will too. I literally did not spend money in your store because I disliked the environment so much. I’ve visited many ultas all over the country and I have never been to one like this.. they’re always usually so sweet and delighted to help me. I’m still shook lol.

The store hours listed are incorrect! I went there on a Saturday morning at 9 AM and they didn't open till 11, yelp listed that they're open at 7 AM which is completely wrong.

Unethical!! I visited Ulta in Vallejo today looking for a Milani product that Target no longer carries. I found the last two and was excited. I noticed the caps were BUT one was CLEARY lighter in weight than the other. YOU could see the product was half full. Here's where wHERE it goes, Left!! I will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I tell the sales representative about the significant weight difference, and she too notices that one tube has more than the other. I tell her I've been to several places looking for the product so I want them both but not without a discount. She says we'll actually I need to mark this as a defect. I I speak to the MANAGER. The manager comes up and again notices the weight difference and says it was because they have different caps..(Any excuse is a good excuse) I say NO you can take both caps off... the weight is different. She says that because there is a seal on the product, she can't mark it defective! NOW AT THIS POINT IT BECOMES AN ETHICAL MATTER!! I ask WHY WOULD YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SELLING SOMETHING or even PUTTING IT BACK ON THE SHELF KNOWING THE PRODUCT IS NOT 100%. SHE THEN SAYS ..ILL GET IN TROUBLE FOR MARKING THE PRODUCT DEFECTIVE WHEN IT is SEALED She suggested I WRITE a Letter to THE BRAND. AGAIN.. SO YOU ARE TELLING ME YOU FEELING COMFORTABLE SELLING something You know is not full . 1oz vs. 2oz at the same price. And "get in trouble how?? STOP SHOPPING AT PLACES THAT GIVE A RATS AZZ ABOUT THE CONSUMER. MALANI TINT 210...DONT BUY . 15 MIN OR LESS TO GET TO FAIRFIELD OR CONCORD . SEPHORA IS A BETTER OPTION SHAME ON YOU ULTA. Not helping Vallejo's reputation at all. I will Write a Letter ..to the general manager of Ulta. I'll order from Amazon in the future

I visited the MAC in this store because I needed a last minute full face. Khamille took me in her chair with no hesitation. her energy was great and she did my face in such a timely manner and it came out so beautifu! she is so kind & talented! the manager was nice too

I love this MAC! Quick, efficient service and all the artists are really friendly. I had an especially good experience today with Khamille. She took extra time to make sure all the products I got matched my skin, and gave me several concealer options so I could pick the one I liked best. Khamille and we had a great conversation, that's what matters most- good customer service and making your customer feel appreciated and acknowledged. I've had bad experiences at other MACs where it takes forever for someone to even look my way, but she was always on it and it's something that I really appreciate. It's a little out of the way for me being that I live in Vacaville, however I would make the drive out here anytime just because of the pleasant experience with Khamille. Keep up the great work Khamille!
