Great place with friendly staff and a great selection! Ive been buying here for a while and will say Ive never had a problem here or gotten an attitude from the staff. To note and I think this is due to CA law you need some documentation before you enter: www.tripleas2.com/Important-Information.html

The employee I encountered didn't allow me to enter the store . He interrogated me about what I came for in the door way . When I asked why he was speaking to me in such a hostile way , he replied " this ain't Walmart , do you want the ammo or not " . I reminded him that it was still customer service regardless of the products & that there was no need to communicate with people of the community in such a disrespectful & hostile manner. Not sure if it was my skin tone or the 3 piece suit I had on that made him treat me in such a way but I'm just not ok with spending my money where I am out right disrespected . I'll never go there or allow anyone I know to make purchases at this hell hole . Just imagine walking up to a store in a great mood and walking away feeling like your life was at risk . That's the value they are providing at this place . Management must condone this type of behavior because he had no filter and not a care in the world for the community members . He seemed motivated to intimidate .

Once you get past the douche of a front man they have, you'll find out they have quite the nice staff inside, great and huge selection of firearms. staff are very helpful and informative! They sold me on a gorgeous ruger pc-9 that I couldn't find elsewhere and Iam very happy with it! Their only downfall however is the big Humpty Dumpty front door man, be ready to have a 6 foot something, over sized over weight useless and easily replaceable non skill man attempt to belittle you using his belly that's hanging 2 feet over his belt squeeze you through a narrow door towering over you like an overweight silverback questioning your paperwork in the most demeaning manner! Send that man home triple A, and get someone else that knows when to be respectful and when to be protective! Otherwise, great store

Yup I done business with them . The guy I got was real nice and open. This was a good thing as I had my wife with me. And he helped her pick out a firearm. As if she was gonna listen to me. And they do/did have a lot to pick from. And they do understand how to show you how to work them. As to the price. They are within reason. But a bit higher than some other places. Why only 4 *. Well, the wife bought the very gun I said not to. And he did nothing to back up my point. And now she is unhappy with it. Yeah.

As a first time firearm buyer in California, the process can seem daunting. After visiting Triple A's website I was prepared with the documents and identification I needed before I visited the store. I was interested in 2 1911s and the staff helped me choose the one I'd be happiest with. It would be a good idea to do some YouTube research on the gun you purchase - CA requires a basic demonstration that you know how to safely load and discharge the gun when you pick it up after the waiting period. Don't worry though; the staff will walk you through the basics of operating your firearm safely.

I have to say my experience in this establishment recently was top tier. I cant lie at first I felt a little iffy standing at the door waiting for approval to be allowed inside, however I understand it is a gun shop that sales weapons and ammo. Their safety is important as well as mines. Once I was able to cross the thresh whole everyone was professional and knowledgeable about their inventory. I worked with a guy by the name of "PK" he was pretty dope with all the information that he gave me, he even gave me a few tips on how to properly handle my weapon. I am Definitely going to consider this my gun shop moving forward.

Place has a good selection but a lot more expensive than price online. Which isn't necessarily their fault because keeping a gun store running here in California isn't the easiest. But 250 dollar price on an aero lower that is priced 80-100 dollars online is too rich for my blood. I was able to get the 86 dollar lower sent to an ffl that charges 100 dollar transfer fee. They had stuff priced exactly what you see online and then you have stuff marked up 150%. So you got to do your research. But if you have the money to spend then support local ffl's. Cause if they close then gun ranges close and we find ourselfs in a position where we can't even shoot the firearms we all spent hard earned money on.

Door was locked during business hours with no sign saying so. After standing outside the door looking d*** and confused for a couple mins, very a rude asian male worker comes out and asks what we want, like we’re an inconvenience. He said unless you buy a gun right then and there, you can’t take the gun license test. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place and find somewhere else to give your money to.

A few tips before coming to this store: Bring CA state / federal required docs to the door if intending to look at/purchase a firearm. The docs will be checked prior to entering the store & purchasing. Picking up a firearm & PPTs are done by appointment only. They're open tues-sat, 10-5pm & close for lunch 130-230 pm on those days.

This store has the largest selection of firearms in the entire Bay Area. The store is always well stocked and the staff very knowledgeable. Aris and his team are the best!

There is no more customer service at the store. I went to the store to pickup my item. They denied the process because I don't have an appointment. I received the call yesterday as a reminder. But that call was not for appointment. The Manger / owner pulled into the store to cancel my transaction & charge restocking. If the Manger was professional enough to say, sorry of the delay. Let's reschedule to get my paperwork. I could have reschedule., but I believe b******* business practices. So cancelled and charge restock fee.
