These guys are swindlers I paid for two engines of which both were faulty because of them .I finally had to go to a different place to get the third engine.Hes never paid me back and has spread rumors I owe him. DO GO HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

This transmission shop has no techs that are helpful. The manager has No transmission skills . I had my 68 Chevrolet chevelle get a new 700R4 transmission scheduled . It took them a total of four months to complete. When I got it. The transmission had a seal leak , had exhaust manifold leak (I discovered 6 bolts were NOT retighten.) And the starter has a metal bang when starting. Manger would not under his 90 warranty repair the issues. I juss got a refund to get out of this horrible situation.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not surprised discount transmission is no longer and runing under a new name. I was most definitely verbally quoted a price of $450 then it turned into $4300. With the transmission taken apart completely it left a choice to put it back together or move forward. Yes the legal owner of the vehicle decided to pay the $4300 with the assumption a newly rebuilt transmission would last another 160k miles as that was what was on the vehicle at time of repair. There's been nothing but leak and shifting issues and I was charged for a transmission mount that eas NOT put on the car. Changing a name of a business doesn't change the facts. I wish I would have read the other reviews before I went there.

SCAMMERS!!! I came here a few months ago when my clutch gave out. I wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible so I came here forgetting to read the reviews of this place. When I was here the manager was super nice making me feel like this was the perfect place for my car to get its clutch replaced. Luckily my friend responded to me being here when I sent him my location. He said that he brought his G35 here and they "fixed" his clutch and ended up breaking other pieces of his clutch assembly, fly wheel, etc. and kept his car longer just to keep "fixing" things that were broken that didn't need to be fixed. Another one of my friends contacted me after and something similar happened. Then I told my parents where I was and they said they got scammed here when they were younger. At first I didn't believe them because I desperately wanted to get my clutch fixed. Then I apologized to the manager saying that I just needed a quote for how much it would cost to fix my car and that I was going to leave and maybe comeback. The quote was a cheap price like $700 to get my clutch fixed where as a dealership would cost almost $2,000. While I was there the technician rode in the car with me and all he diagnosed in my car was that my clutch was slipping. I already knew that. Then when about to leave the manager immediately changed his mood from super friendly to annoyed and upset. He said that I owed him around $200 for his technician diagnosing my car. I said all he did was ride in my car and watch my rpms slip and say "your clutch is slipping." The manager then proceeded to say "he took time out of his day to ride with you and diagnose your car." I said that took 3 minutes. He held my key for about 10 minutes while we were going back and forth about me paying. He then gave up and said fine, bye and shoved the key in my hand. Ridiculous.

Horrible customer service!!! Now I see why they have bad reviews. The 2 girls who answer the phone are incredibly rude and don't seem to care one bit if they help you or not. Then give you an attitude because you need help lol Owner never calls back or seems to care what's going on. Take your business somewhere else!!!

I really was impressed, how the front staff greeted me and was patient in providing several options for my transmission repairs. The services were excellent and I was able to have more needed work with their credit card services. Thanks again for the value and reliability of the services for my vehicle.. 1998 Ford Ranger XLT

I've been coming to Transmission Discount Center since 2003. I've needed to replace three transmissions (refurbished ones) in three different cars over the years, the most recent being in March 2021, plus replacing the catalytic converter as well. They're currently going to replace my charcoal canister. They've been extremely helpful in working with me to finance the repairs (since I'm a senior with a low income and on a tight budget). They've completed the work on a timely basis when I've given them my time constraints, but they're flexible. I have no complaints about their service -- they treat me well and with respect, and explain things to me so I understand what's involved. When I shop to compare their prices against competitors, they offer me fair prices. I recommend them!

This shop was great from start to finish. Sabrina was amazing to not only ease my concerns, she was able to offer a mechanic same day to diagnosed my car within a couple of minutes of us talking by phone and my arrival to the shop. Jose was the mechanic assigned and confirmed what I was told by another shop (muffler and exhaust) and luckily not 1 but 2 parts needed for my car was able to be delivered same day to get repair done for mounting my motor. They were both professional and friendly. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and had me out in a timely manner. I will recommend this shop for how efficient, professional, pricing and willingness to help even on same day! Thank you both for your awesome customer service and any other mechanics who help with my Chevy Cobalt and having it ready for next repair job. Dad's favorite EXT burnt up the transmission. According to Jason and Jesus, the factory cooler was the issue. They installed a bigger and more efficient cooler and replaced the damaged parts. I sure am glad I didn't just swap another OEM part and had the experts look at it. I turned around and pulled a trailer full of family treasure safely to Colorado. Transmission stayed cool (140 or less) the whole way. The EXT pulled like a beast! Sabrina always was helpful over phone and post repair inspection was quick. I'm glad the Ghavimi's recommended and so would I! Thank you so much!
