Today I went to The Salvation Army to pick up some food for my familyToday I went to The Salvation Army to pick up some food for my family, the lady who works the front desk was unkind and not very respectful. The food i received from behind the desk was old , the meats were out dated and freezer burnt. But I looked at the food she gave the person next to me was fresher, I notice that her attitude and unkindness makes me feel she has some form of racism and I love all races and people. My daughter felt sick after eating the old Bacon ? ?. Come on now we already struggling don't make it worse by giving us food that will make us sick ugh thats nasty.

I noticed that salvation army the people that work there take care of their own people. Like the young Mexican lady that works the front desk she does favoritism. Every time her sister comes there she overpacks her bags and she always have an attitude a very nasty one I just feel when you working with the public you should respect ever and while I was there I noticed a lady that had five kids in her family she gave her one pack of hamburger meat which was very small which would not feed a five family and two packs of hot dogs who was that going to feed and I understand the food is free but she has five kids so I just felt the bigger packs that she were given to the people that only had two in their family should have went to the bigger familyone not just certain people.

Did you leave your wallet out at 6 Dregs and now all your cash and credit cards are gone? Kids in the backseat giving you the stinkeye because all your iPhones got wet or eaten by the few animals left at 6 Dregs and y'all are hungry and homeless til Citibank opens? Maybe you fell on hard times? This place will help!! They have emergency food, hot lunch days, access to government assistance programs, and more. Staff is volunteers and super friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. They even know where to send you for more food, showers, and assistance. Try it and be impressed
