My husband and I aren't just so very pleased, but amazed at the level of craftmanship(or womanship :-)) with Janet's work. Our bedroom bench settee is nothing short of fabulous. I often buy Janet's decorative pillows also, which there is no comparison to what you may purchase and pay on the market for this level of quality in a simple pillow. I only wish we had found her sooner. She has our business for life. Thank you so much Janet!

I called this business regarding upholstering two large dining chairs with further intention of having 4 large and heavy parson style chairs also reupholstered at a later time. I was instructed by a woman (sorry, I dont remember her name) to text a photo to a 415 number, and "I'll get back to you" was what she said.That happened on Feb 21; today is March 6th and I haven't had a call back.If for whatever reason, they didn't want the business, a return call would still have been the courteous thing to do. "Don't have time", " job too small", "can do it later" - would have all been acceptable answers - but at least an answer. I've checked voice mail several times since then with no call back.

These folks did such a great job of refurbishing and reupholstering a couple of my mother's pieces of furniture, I decided to use them to repair the bench seat from my Bronco. They did an amazing job and charged a very fair price, and they were incredibly pleasant to work with!

If your looking for beautiful accent pieces for your home, this is the place. The shop owner Janet is incredibly talented, and can take a plain antique or vintage piece of furniture and make it incredible! Found her shop by accident when looking for another shop. Take a look at her store window for a mere sample of what's inside. As a guy, I dont go for frilly stuff, and they have cool lounges and chairs that will bring character to the manliest mancaves too. Definitely a cool spot, and she can reupholster everything from couches to window coverings. The owner is a STAR, has also did work for Hollywood sets....Paramount/Netflix projects.....I work in staging and she's awesome!

This eclectic shop is a wonder of design and creativity. Antiques, homed décor, furniture repair and upholstery - and all kinds of fabrics. Janet, the jefita of the whole joint, knows her stuff and will guide you in any of the needs listed (and a few more!). Her work is exquisite, as is the work of the cadre of artists working with her - Richard, her furniture revivateur & upholsterer, and the numerous fabric artists & seamstresses. Stop in and you will at some point in your visit have your mind blown at the various forms of art on display!

Called Janet about a 30 year sofa needing to be recovered and she said come down with pictures and we will see what can be done. Well with her help The old sofa is a brand new and beautiful work of art. She will guide you through the hard decisions and listens to your thoughts and ideas. Will post pictures of old and new sofa. Please give her a call if you want perfection. I was in no rush and told her that.

Janet, the owner and the crew at Pieced on Earth did outstanding work on several projects I had done over the past few years: custom draw drapes, custom grommet drapes, custom Roman shade, custom headboard, custom cornice boards custom and pillows and tablecloth. I usually bring in my own material as I have found it cheaper on-line. But that can be problematic too. In one instance, I didn't know fabric was stained at end of till until Janet began making item. It was my fault that it was too late to return. Janet worked with what she had and was able to get creative to put tablecloth together. Their prices are fair and lower than all other places I called recently to compare. My only complaint is how long it has taken to get finished item on just a few occasions. One of my items took four months to receive, and that's just too long when I expected the item in half that time. I've shared my concern with the owner and she has worked with me to try to make things right. I will continue to use Pieced on Earth, as long as I'm not in a hurry, since I don't feel like I can rely on the timeline given.
