I made an appointment for an oil change one week in advance, for a great price; however upon arriving they first tried to change the oil to full synthetic, jacking up the price. Once I got that fixed I waited one hour with no word and I had my dog, it was raining and I was outside. I went in to ask about the wait and the very nice cashier came back quoting a 2 hours wait. I ok my keys and waited 2 more hours in my car with no word watching them close up shop. I then had to go in and just cancel the whole service. I came from Fairfield to Vallejo for this appointment so I was very disappointed and frustrated.

Don, service manager, and Stephen, mechanic, were professional and courteous for a set of tires the first time I visited. Yesterday I returned for a new set of brakes and Dino, Michael, and the mechanic were absolutely fantastic. Repeatable great service at extremely competitive pricing. Thank you!

Paid for all 4 new tires next day the actual tire that had a nail in it that I paid for to be replaced is back on flat so they have a deal but 3 get 1 free I believe they never replaced the tire and just took the nail out because no way it should be flat the next day also they take very long to install tires as well

Sent my son there Had issue with power steering. They gave him an un needed oil change , tune up and belt and reconditioned steering pump. I was at work when this happened. Needless to say it didn't resolve the problem. Steering pump was bad . Did I mention they took advantage of a kid with Autism? Anyways I took car back and 2 days later it's still on the rack !

Great place in Vallejo to get service performed. They accept shipments of tires from a lot of online retailers and charge around $80 (everything included) to have tires installed. Needed Model Y tires for just under 8 months until a lease comes up and was able to order them online and have them installed for under $600. Appointment process was also smooth. They are short staffed and could take 3 to 4 hours to have your service completed.

My experience at Pep Boys in Vallejo was positive and pleasant. First, I went to their website and I bought tires online on a Sunday. The website said they would be available the next day. After my purchase, I immediately scheduled an appointment. They had open availability for the time I wanted, 4:30pm and for the next day, Monday! I was thrilled to be able to come so quickly! I also took the initiative to call Pep Boys Monday morning to confirm they had the tires in stock. I spoke with Don, the Manager, who was so helpful. He told me he would check and call me back. He kept his word. Don called me back to confirm he had the tires in stock and I was ecstatic. I was happy that the website didn't lie and that I could get my tires done that day. I confirmed to see him at 4:30pm. I checked in with Dino (I think that's his name) and dropped off my vehicle. I asked how long it would be and he said probably near closing time which is around 7pm. He said they would call me when it's ready. He was nice. I walked to Costco to shop while I waited. I did not receive a phone call, but decided to walk back. It was about 6:30pm when I returned and my vehicle was clearly still being worked on. I waited in the waiting room and I was able to watch the techs do their work through the window. I was on my phone playing games for a bit when Don, the Manager, approached me to give me an update. He said it wouldn't be long. At about 7:20pm, Don called out my name and asked me what my schedule was like the rest of the week. With hesitation, I told him my availability. He said his tech had back to back wheel alignments and he didn't have enough time for mine. Don said it would take about an hour, no appointment needed, so I told Don I would be back the next day. Of course, not knowing what the next day would be like, if their service department was busy with other vehicles, Don did assure me that he would squeeze me in for the car to be finished. I came back the next day to get the vehicle aligned and Don was able to get the tech to work on my vehicle. I stayed in the waiting room this time and it took about 40-45 minutes. I was occupied with social media so it didn't seem that long. A minor setback to coming back another day but I was happy with everything. Overall, I was pleased with their customer service, communication and friendliness.
