“Our Dad passed away last week and we needed to print out his obituaries. Of course, we waited until the morning of the memorial service to print. We went to OfficeMax to get some help and we were directed to use the self service printers. It didn't have many settings on it and because the obituary was front and back, we didn't think it'd print out correctly. A gentleman named Mel Hoskins approached us and asked if we needed help; we which desperately did. We explained the situation and he gave us a few suggestions. The PDF we created cut off during the initial print out so we had to fix it before we could continue printing. Mel was patient the entire time. He suggested different solutions and explained why the format needed to be the way it needed to be. As a result, the obituary format was fixed and we got 50 copies printed right then and there. Mel's customer service was exceptional. On such a tough day, he was patient, caring, and willing to walk us through each obstacle we faced. I don't know if there's an employee award or recognition he can receive, but if there is, please acknowledge Mel. Mel, thank you again for your patience and kindness.”
