the check engine light on my truck came on while I was driving it, so I took it to this shop to have them check where the problem was. it was the catalytic converter fault . they ordered the converters and waited for at least couple of weeks for the replacement to come in since it's coming from the maker of the vehicle. It was installed and very satisfied for their professional job. I'll be going back to this shop if I get problem with my vehicle. The people there were friendly and highly recommend this shop . I support local small business.

Recently got my all 4 of my brake pads replaced and installed here and it was very reasonably priced. Half the cost Big-on and the dealership wanted to charge. Charming owner who's family has run the business for 76 years. Highly recommend to anyone needing brake work done in the Vallejo area.

I brought my truck in for what I thought would be an expensive fix. Turns out it didn't need all that. They repaired my problem for a fraction of what I thought. This guy is honest and I'll be going back with any of our vehicular problems.

i had to go back and forth 3 times and they couldnt fix my wheels they charged me everytime I even left my car there for weeks and the result is the same waste of money and time i couldve sold the car instead

I wish I could give zero stars. We have been going back-and-forth with the owner of the shop for the past two weeks to work on a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta. It had a list of issues such as the heater doesn't work, light was out, needed new windshield wipers, and a couple fuses were out. The owner, which I believe is Lew, was NOT reliable and did NOT communicate anything towards us letting us know what he could and could not fix. We simply picked it up this morning and nothing was done besides a light being changed and new windshield wipers. I probably could've gone to Pep Boys for that. Not even to mention that he charged us almost $1000 to simply take out a radiator. He only refunded us $90. A complete scam, unorganized, do NOT go here you will lose your money. The cherry on top is that when we got there to pick it up this morning he LOST my car fob. He dug around for a few minutes until he could find it but he had also claimed that I never left him a car fob. That isn't true, I left him my key AND my car fob. The whole process was unprofessional but losing your clients key is probably one of the worst things I've seen in a mechanic I would NEVER recommend this spot, I can't even believe it has good reviews. He fixed absolutely nothing and I wish I could be a Karen and go off on him to his face, but I'm trying to be a little nicer than that. PLEASE trust me and listen to me, DO NOT go to this shop

I brought my truck with some noise on the arm control's and the owner tell two or three day later that the problem it was the lower arms and they will fix it for 650$ and I says ok go ahead and do it, 4 days later he say the truck was ready, he didn't do the lower arm's, he did the one upper arm, not fix the problem the noise still on my truck, he charge me for tie some bolts and put something that the truck doesn't need, Why to say you gonna fix the truck but you don't know how, really bad service never go back to this place

IN June I took my car for some work and upon returning to pick up my car I notice my car bumper was pushed into the retaining wall. This caused paint to chip off on my front pumper. I pointed it out to Lew: After that it bother me that I took my car in good condition and Lew s shop chipped the paint so I called him I need to get it fixed: He offered only touch up paint and would call me: it's been over four weeks not heard from Lew: First I would not use touch up paint and second return my car as I left it to you: IM

A tire store had changed my tire and cross threaded the lug nut. I called 4-5 business in Vallejo and the prices ranged from $165 to $300+-$400+. My landlord referred me to Lew's. They have been in the business at the same location for over 70 years. Lew grew up learning from his father. He gave me a quote which was less than $100 and did the repair in about 2 hours. He even fixed the tire that had a nail in it, which saved me a visit to Costco. He is 'honest' and will stand by the quote he gives you.
