These days any lab can draw a blood sample, refrigerate it, transport it, and run automated tests. So it boils down to the CUSTOMER SERVICE and EFFICIENCY. I have been going to LabCorp (3448 Villa Lane) in the early AMs because it is close to where I live. For the past 2 years, in the early mornings patients have to put up with a grouchy, bossy, receptionist who would never work for my company with an attitude like that. When their card reader was broken/malfunctioned, she demanded my credit card instead of my VALID insurance card which had always worked fine before. When I asked what if I declined, she said no service, so I did use it. I come to find out that Lab Corp has to accept your physician's order if you have a valid insurance card. (Strike 1 and Strike 2)
Upon going for an annual physical today, I was advised that there was a new Lab Corp office in that same building (1100 Trancas St) and was sent there by my internist. The card reader was not hooked up and there was only one person for the reception and venipuncture. She had two patients ahead of me. Ok fine. When I was called up, THEN I was told that I needed and appointment and could not be seen today. When I indicated that my internist sent me down there she politely apologized. So I walked out annoyed that the person could have asked me that 10 minutes earlier. Then, I wouldn't have to wait to be refused service.
So I went back to my internist and told them that they are sending their patients to a lab that will not take them without an appointment (!) and that there is a Quest Diagnostics lab 3/4 of a mile down the street. Quest was polite (customer service) and took me right away (efficiency). Strike 3
Guess where I will go in the future? Also it should come as no surprise that I will share my experiences and recommendations with my neighbors and students (I am a college instructor).

Been here a few times. Results never get sent to Dr. & employees seem untrained. From my last visit, I now have a cyst in my inner elbow where the guy tried numerous times to find a vein. I was pretty much in shock, sweating, pale, and nauseous by the end of the ordeal. Not a good experience.

Nia was professional, friendly, and efficient. I never felt the blood draw. Nia is that proficient at her work. The clinic is clean with minimal wait time in early morning. Front desk was also kind and helpful.

To save money they staff this location with 1 worker. So even if there's two people ahead of you it's going to take more than 30 minutes to be seen. Additionally, their hours are more restrictive than a banks!

I had great experience here! Clean environment, friendly associates, my favorite was Jess! He is so kind, professional, gentle and attentive. Jess is also very cheerful and has great sense of humor that made my experience an easy one.

They need to update their hours. On website it says they take walk ins and also days they are open. I went on Monday early afternoon around 1:15 pm and a sign in door said temporarily closed. I had called before I went and got voicemail but voicemail said their hours so I wasted my gas and time. I would recommend not driving there until you are sure they are reopened

Unbelievably inefficient. Hours are sporadic. I need to find another place.

Went today and it was horrible. She was rough, and I have huge black and blue spot! She came in my room singing and said: "which arm?" That was it!!
I asked another person on the way out: "how long do returns take as it was for an employment?" No response.
NO, I do not check ALL the boxes, for enquiring

Very incompetent office. My blood work wasn’t sent to my doctor on several occasions and I feel the people are not properly trained to complete the job they are there for.

I wish I could give them a ZERO. I booked a fasting appointment here and got confirmation. Upon arriving there (from another city) the building was locked and dark. Someone from there left a voicemail when I was driving saying that that the facility was closed. Entirely pathetic!!! I WASTED AN HOUR AND FUEL AS WELL AS FASTING!! AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK TO GET AN APPOINTMENT ELSEWHERE!!

Terry WAS the best. She worked there all by herself and was wonderful. She managed to help everyone and, keep the line moving. She’s retired and now it’s all down hill. Now there are two women who are supposed to be working but can’t seem to move things along. Even with an appointment I had to wait for an additional 35 minutes. One woman talked to the male client forever instead of just doing his lab work. The other stayed at the desk instead of doing labs. Keep conversations minimal and keep the line moving!
