Too many floors walker In sold me damaged water bottles/ after carrying to car. I should've looked but i felt they had to follow me maybe they helped me out faster. Then Over charge me for turkey sausage was .1.49 ea charge me 4.98 ea , also charge me for 20 bags,( it say appeal 15 each ) this for bag gave me 6 bags for 30 items the water wasn't bag , so they basically over charge me, follow me, try ck my license address for handicap basket pickup, subject I bring I'd besides my student ID with picture? I been a weekly customer for 2yr , and now I get trapped by people who don't know how to follow you and have time to mark down damaged items, they need to watch the work habits of employees before they think of follow granny in handicap spot , with license plate in the up front on camera .

I like this one better than the one close to the waterfront. Very clean and organized.

Just grungy & dirty. I visit grocery outlets up and down the state and this is one of my least favorites due to the lack of cleanliness and smells. I do still occasionally come and find a couple things but never a pleasant experience.

1-12-2024 the store was totally in great shape with new improvements on shelving units and well stocked products are offered.
Good deals... You just never know what you'll find, so you just gotta go and check it out.
Found some great deals today.
They have great music while you shop and some of the nicest employees.

Best places to buy K-cups. Donut shop 60count or mccafe for 25 bucks and sometimes get a 5 off 25 coupon with the app.

I love, love, LOVE this store and I don't think it gets enough kudos. Ownership is stellar, and the recent store upgrade makes shopping there a breezy pleasure. Find top quality items at cut rate prices! What are you waiting for? Go!

My husband prefers to do most of our grocery shopping. He shops here first to try and save money. They do have some good deals price wise comparably to Safeway, but it's very hit or miss. The kids and I occasionally join him. The items here sometimes have a weird perfume or chemical smell, particularly the once upon a farm kids pouches and the produce (potatoes bags). You definitely have to check the dates on all the food. I've had to throw out meat and things like granola bars because my husband accidentally missed a date. It occasionally happens at other stores too, but it just defeats the purpose of paying less and it's not as easy to get a refund. Also, customer service wise: I'm an introvert, but I like to be friendly and kind. So, I smile at the cashiers while holding our kids as my husband pays. Not sure if it's protocol in order to avoid customer drama, but on at least 3 occasions the cashiers have seemed to go out of their way to ignore my smile, look miserable, and turn up their noses. Meanwhile, they also seem to go out of their way to make eye contact and thank my husband and tell him to have a good day. I can only guess that it's because he's the paying customer. It's funny to me because he definitely doesn't care to be kind or friendly to any associates anywhere we shop. He's very transactional, even dismissive, by a rule. Maybe it's that he exudes confidence that garners respect. Next time, the kids and I will skip the checkout part. If you can afford to go elsewhere, I would just based on the iffy quality of the food and high markup on many of the household items. The Pleasant Hill location has fresher food and friendly staff, but it's far. I shop there when I'm out running errands with the kids.
