They were super nice but it turned into a headache. I got two piercings and I really wish I didnt. I should have listened to my gut and got some shoes. My bar for my first piercing wasn’t long enough to handle the swelling so I ran back to the shop just to be told I must have did something and I would have to pay again for a long bar. Why didn’t you just give me a long bar in the first place??? They gave me my original bar back and said to keep it once the piercing heals, thanks!! Fine let’s just switch it, please! Then four days later my second piercing falls out. Called to see what we can do but again it’s my fault, I must have unscrewed it in my sleep is what I was accused of… Really!!and I would have to pay for a long bar. It’s literally 14 days old. So it didn’t come unscrewed because she tightened it with her fingers rather than the tools, hmmmmm! I’m down for supporting Vallejo’s small businesses but not when I feel like I got jacked for my money. No compromise just blame and more money.

If you like trash work and want to be treated in a racist manner (if you are black that is) then stop by! If you want quality and to be treated decent, this is not the parlor for you.

I had been visiting Cali to see my dad and wanted to get my ears pierced. I was pierced by Maddi and she was very nice. However, one of my ear piercings is very lopsided. I have also been in pain for about 2 months now. I went to a local piercer and they said my earlobe jewelry was oxidizing in my ear and it was infected, even though I clean it every day with saline solution. They also put in jewelry that is very hard to take out on my own, so that's why I went to another piercer. I called and asked for a refund, but the guy I spoke to said on the agreement paper it said no refunds and intruped me and would not listen. I read the whole thing and I did not remember seeing any refunds. I am very disappointed because I spent $130 plus a $10 tip just for earlobe piercings and then for me to spend $55 at a different place to get it taken out and better jewelry in. As soon as the piecer I went to put in the new jewelry I felt instant relief. To the owner When I mean oxidizing I mean it was turning green. The jewelry was clearly not stainless steal. And the ball in my ear is indeed not heavy. Your piercer pierced me wrong!!! And sadly I cannot come because I am 2000+ miles away. (I live In Florida) I went to California to see my father.

I had a very poor experience by thinking I could take my kid in to get her ears pierced. I waited in the lobby to be assisted by anybody working there, and to my surprise there was two gentlemen that I didn't know worked in there who were smoking up marijuana fest on the sidewalk. They came in reeking like weed smoke I change my mind instantly and walked out with my child. There was no way I was gonna let anyone that's impaired, pierce my child's ears. It's a bad look to run a business you may encounter minors with their parents coming in contact with you while you're stoned out. I definitely would not support this business or encourage anyone with children to walk in there and have any trust in getting piercings or tattoos by people that are under the influence of Mary J. Most recently we were invited to dinner at the place next to them, and again encountered One of the two same individuals that works at the piercing shop smoking and choking on his joint . I didn't even wanna walk past them on the sidewalk because it was such a despicable and I surely didn't want my children to have that encounter with that smoke either. Unless you approve of this type of lifestyle and you're OK with somebody being high doing this type of stuff and a shop like this, it would be your choice, but not mine.

The staff is great, and I've had nothing but good things to say with the actual piercings. But the hours are never accurate and every time I try to come get pierced no one is in the shop, it's closed and no one will answer the phone. It's very frustrating when they say walk-ins are welcome from a specific time but no one is there to tend to the customers.

Stopped by here 5 times and called ahead and after I showed up but it seems they are not open at the times listed OR at all for that matter. Tried 1-5pm(2xfri/2xtue/wed)doors locked. And no answer via phone.

Called today at 415pm and spoke with a gentleman asking if I can make an appointment at 615 to get my wife's nose pierced for her birthday. The gentleman said we do piercings from 2-6 but he can make an exception because 615 isn't too bad. Was told its 60$ for the piercing and to bring cash. I thanked the gentleman and asked if i needed to leave a name and number but he said no its fine we'll see you here. It's 605 and we come to a CLOSED shop. A gentleman opens the door and says we're closed and I tell him we made an appointment for 615 and he says "you must have heard wrong." Wooow blows my mind for someone to say that. I heard wrong? Smh horrible service! I do not recommend!

I've got A-LOT of piercings; so I'm just gonna do a general review for anyone shopping around for the right artist. All the piercings I've gotten here were done right. They healed quickly, they've lasted and they were affordable. Both of the piercing artists (Mitch and Irais) are experienced, kind, super professional and their knowledge base is INCREDIBLE. I can't speak to Ghost Towns current ink slingers-- I've not gotten one here, in some time-- but one of my favorite pieces was done here. They make you feel so freaking comfortable-- EVEN when you're a pain in the ass like me lol. They're both SO patient and passionate about what they do! They're literally THE BEST. I have been getting body art done since I was 16 years old (SMDH--I'm almost 40 now). I have been to ink and piercing studios all over the world, but most of it done here in the Bay Area. ALOT of studios are way more interested in how many people go thru the turnstile versus ensuring a lasting and safe piercing for YOU. More importantly -- Ghost Town will not do something just for the money. If these people TELL YOU-- "No this isn't a good idea" OR "Just wait this amount of time for this or that." Or "do this instead of that." LISTEN TO THEM! They truly want to send you home with a clean, lasting piercing that you'll love. Plus if you get a piercing that requires anything past initial jewelry change, like stretching and etc they're great with follow up! If they advise you to not do something, don't walk out pissy and go it somewhere else that will do it where you'll likely get infected and know regret. Case in point; I had a friend who fell in love with my dimple piercings and wanted them for herself . I sent her down to see these guys. For whatever reason one of the artists informed her she needed to wait. She didn't. She got the piercings elsewhere. Shocker-- they got SUPER SUPER infected--BOTH SIDES. If she would have just listened she would've saved herself a shit ton of pain, scarring and overall, musty ass regret. Your takeaway from this review -- If you're getting your 25th or 1st piercing this place is where to go.

Great place, great employees! Quick service and very helpful throughout the process. Definitely recommend, especially if you're getting first-time piercings like myself with my nose piercing. They made me feel welcome and comfortable and relaxed. And I had no process with my piercing.

Mitch walked me through every step of the process in getting my nose pierced. From the minute I walked through the door, he was attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable. Made the experience that much easier!

I went in the day after Christmas to get my nostril pierced, and had a very good experience. Everything was explained clearly, the place was large and nicely laid out, there was a great variety of lovely and interesting jewelry to browse, the price was reasonable ($60 for the piercing and a stainless steel stud with an AB crystal), and Irais did a great job with my piercing. Today is only day 12, and for days now it has been looking perfectly normal and like I've had it for years, rather than for less than two weeks - no redness, no more crustiness, no pain (unless I mess with the skin around it too much, lol). Irais was also very kind and patient in explaining her reasons for choosing the location of the placement mark as she did, when I said I wanted it more in the crease part of the nostril, and I'm glad I decided to trust her experience on it. Another great aspect was that I went in with my visibly trans girlfriend, who was getting the piercing for me as a gift, and everyone there was friendly and accepting toward us both. I will very likely go in for another piercing next time I'm in Vallejo!

My son wanted his ears pierced and the piercer was extremely good at keeping him calm and talking through each step with him. Mitch is a true professional and I will definitely be returning for future piercings.
