This has got to be the most slowest unorganized dmv I have ever been in! Not only do you wait 15+ mins just to get a dang number but if you have an appointment you also have to wait in the never ending line. They only have 1 person giving out numbers, I seen a man who had a number & he gave it to the lady to get help she told him that the number has expired and she gave him a new number, he had already been waiting for 20 mins in the line, he waited even longer after that. They have more employees standing in the back of the dmv than employees at the windows to help folks out. They seriously need to do better all the way around.

Just like any other dmv....busy. no appointment or with an appointment, expect to be waiting for a long time. I had no appointment, but with the amount of people and wait time, I able to be seen before 5p. Thank goodness.

Still the best DMV to got to!!!! All the employees are a joy. They must be trying to delete the stigma attached yo going here because they are helpful, cheerful, knowledgable, and they just zip through any line. Bummed their systems were down and I had to finish the rest were I was going....Ventura. too close to LA!!!==//No wait. Employee that helped me just punched out all the paperwork I needed. She was awesome!!

The security guard and lady at the front desk should be fired. Extremely rude people at the front desk. I watched an older Asian man that couldn't speak very good English bring a paper up, the lady at the desk had an attitude, asked what he's here for? The older Asian man tried to explain the best he could while pointing at the paper. The lady at the desk looks over at the security guard and shakes her head with a pissy face, (the security guard shakes her head also) turns around to write a ticket and says "you sure as hell shouldn't be driving on the road that's for sure" Why shouldn't he be driving on the road? Because he can't speak very good English or because he's older and Asian? That's not very her to decide or for her to make an out loud opinion toward him. Why does this lady have a job here at the DMV? People do not need to be treated that way. I understand you deal with a lot of different people but that type of attitude and remarks and looks on your face is not professional at all. If you hate your job then find a new one. There's plenty of more qualified people with a better attitude that can replace her and the security guard. Which by the way is so overweight that even if there was an emergency she wouldn't be doing much, she can barely walk. Hence the reason she's sitting down.

Went for real id. Did the online application ahead and uploaded my documents. Brought the code they gave me with my documents and was in and out in less than 30 mins with a computer system reboot. EXCELLENT SERVICE

Two whole years in a row, they refuse to send me a paper renewal, resulting in about $70 of late fees. SEVENTY DOLLARS!I NEVER opted into e-renewal and should not be forced to. In fact, I have an email where I was nagged to opt into e-renewal, but I did not. You are creating an unpleasant situation where I will be pulled over and accosted by the police for not renewing even though your department is absolutely at fault!!! That is a total scam, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Heavy African American woman that sits at the front when you walk in must hate her job. She's rude and makes unnecessary offensive remarks. If you ask her a question instead of answering she will take you on a trip around the world just to say "you should already know this" I've heard from multiple people in the community that they dislike interacting with her. I understand that the job is stressful but to belittle even the people trying to be pleasant with her is a bad look. Put her in the back or let her bag groceries somewhere else.
