Budget was the only moving truck rental company in Vallejo that had trucks available. Apparently Penske is getting their catalytic converters stolen so they don't keep any here! And Uhaul was almost double the price. The process was super smooth and the truck was great. We booked a 12 ft but they only had a 16 ft which wasn't a problem for us (they gave it to us for the 12 ft price), but I would suggest calling ahead to double check if you need the exact car you book. Overall a great experience and I will be sure to book with them again in the future.

The employer is beyond rude. If u don't like ur job the dude quit!!Poorest customer service I have ever experienced in my life!! Vehicles are trash!! I had to delay my trip because one car would shake really bad when coming to a stop. Took back and got another 1. Second car, tires bald and had a side wall tire puncture. I have children. He didn't care about safety or my children's.

The guy running this establishment is very unprofessional! Trying to give me a sprinter van instead of the 12' moving truck that I booked the night before. He said the sprinter Van is the same as the 12' Moving truck and it's just not! Then he goes on to say that he didn't have time to get back to tell me he didn't even have the truck that I booked the night before but he saw it booked! Then he walks out on a telephone call when he should be dealing with the customer that he is already talking to! Big waste of time!

Only rental place open on Sunday's which is helpful because every rental place in Vallejo is closed. Car was ok and worked for what I needed.

They told me over the phone they'd rent to me for $360. When I got there the price jumped to 610$ but they promised to refund me 200$ if I returned early. So two days later, and I was to have it for three, I returned it and they charged me 920$. They told me it was because of the mileage. At that point I may as well have gotten Uhaul and movers. I busted my back side to get it back in a timely manner and they screwed me. This service is trash.

My rental doubled in cost because they require insurance and if you decline, you better know all of the ins, outs, and exact details of your insurance because there's 20 questions on paper about how and why your insurance isn't good enough to cover their truck. Truck rental - $260. Insurance - $192. That being said, the truck was decent and I'm grateful it made it over the grapevine and the entirety of 390 miles

The person I spoke to on the phone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I'm a very polite person but he gave me a really bad attitude. He kept cutting me off while I was trying to ask questions. I would cancel my reservation but the price was very cheap. Terrible customer service. Be advised so you're mentally prepared for verbal abuse.

Horrible customer service. What's sad is that I think he's the franchisee/owner-operator. He could learn a thing or two from the Enterprise folks on Sonoma.

Rude and hostile. Treats customers like the enemy rather than working with them. I have a feeling most bad vibes can be avoided if either the customer resolves things or if the owner would be a little more polite.

Booked a truck for military move, when arrived saw our truck driving away and the guy said he didn't have any trucks anymore. Sold it under us, worst service ever.

I booked a truck for Saturday, reservation went through without a problem. Get a call late Wednesday telling me know truck available and to call customer service if I need help. Called and was told a truck specialist had to call me, set up a 8am time for them to call. 9:45 a.m. and no phone call. Contacted customer service and said I could pick up a truck in Concord. No response when I ask if they are going to waive the mileage fee between Concord and Vallejo. Terrible customer service!!!!!

If a review could be posted without stars I would gladly oblige an honest review. Against my better judgement I called and reserved a moving truck at this location despite the 1-star Yelp review(s). Upon my arrival I was told I had no reservation and no trucks were available. I spent an hour at the branch making phone calls to corporate & watching an employee wipe a filthy black car that had just been returned down with a towel and windex, no water. Made my way to a "supervisor" in corporate reservations who was just as ridiculously simple and helpless as his subordinates. His apologies and remedies for my inconvenience amounted to NOTHING. He suggested I call back AFTER returning the truck and try to haggle an "after the fact" compensation. Frustrating experience resulted in a dirty truck with a check engine light on. Suffice to say that I should've walked across the street to the popular orange truck rental spot. Not happy that I had to give up a star...
