After having a bad experience at AFC urgent care, we went to Valencia medical care and received excellent care and quick service. We will only use this center going forward. Thank you to the front desk, nurse and doctor on call for their excellent service.

This place used to be great. But there service has taken a dive big time. The last two times I have been there I had blood work drawn for lab work. Both tines I had to call back a week after not receiving a call from them on results. Each time I called they could not give results because "Provider" had to give the results. 2 days later I received call from some person I talked to that couldn't give results himself on original phone call.The results were not good and required attention. So they sat on these lab results fir more than 10 days on both visits until I called them. And then trying to get my prescription was a whole separate issue. First they could not get the prescription to the correct new pharmacy I requested. And when I did decide to just pick it up at my previous pharmacy it was incorrect amount. I needed 90 days and it was for 30. The doctor told me he would do 90 sonce i needed another provider.They told me I would need to come in for another visit in order to prescribe another prescription.If you can, go somewhere else.

Elise Weichbrodt is hands down the best care i’ve ever received. Especially living with a chronic illness having a provider that actually listens to you and understands you is so amazing.

I had an absolutely incompetent experience at this urgent care, yesterday. I warn patients to stay away. Here are all of the problems I have with this place:1. They prescribed me the wrong medication, which could have led to serious complications since it isn’t taking care of my actual infection. This urgent care apparently didn’t see that I have acute tonsillitis. How come a doctor I just saw TODAY elsewhere could figure it out in five minutes, but this urgent care was staring at my swollen, white-spotted tonsils and throat going “I don’t know. That’s weird. It’s not strep. Here’s Doxycycline.”???? Guessing games are completely irresponsible!!! That’s all you had to tell me after three hours??? Is it everyone’s first day?3. I was at this urgent care for THREE hours. I saw them once it was two hours in and they kept taking samples of my extremely painful throat and saying “I don’t know if I’m getting anything. Let me try again.”4. I saw the actual urgent care doctor for 60 seconds and he gave me no information. Today, I went elsewhere and a doctor sat with me for 30 minutes to explain what I have, why Doxycycline doesn’t work, and what I need to take urgently to heal my tonsils.

Honestly not a great experience. I waited quite long, which is fine but the whole time the dr I was with was googling what I was saying to the point I needed to leave. Did not feel super comfortable with the care, but the admitting nurse was great.

EXCELLENT walk-in clinic for everything from serious illness, to simple medication refills, and everything in between! The owner Dr. Yi is as knowledgeable as he is courteous, and the other doctors are great as well. As a cash patient, their prices are very affordable, you definitely get more than your money's worth. Probably the best walk-in clinic in Santa Clarita!

The front desk is racist. Please consider other urgent care if you are not white. One white woman is really hurt the reputation of this clinic. Hope the owner should notice this issue.

I have heard great things about the doctors here and I have no complaints on the care received by the few doctors. However, the front desk staff is terrible. Iv been a few times and assumed the girls were having a bad day and that's why they were so rude but the last time I was there ( months ago) the older lady with blonde hair was training a new girl and she was so incredibly rude to the girl I felt so bad for her. This particular lady is always pretty rude to me but I just ignore her. But this day she literally said to the new girl she was training " are you sure you want to work here cause you don't seem like your catching on to anything " the girl said " I'm trying to do the best i can " I felt so bad for that girl. I kept listening to her train and it was pathetic. One backhanded comment after another. She continued to tell the girl she didn't know what she was doing. And I'm only saying this because it's been Numerous times Iv heard her say rude things to staff and guests. She's not good for the business and I dont enjoy seeing rude people when I need medical care. Also, they take forever to respond when you leave messages and often don't even return the call. Doctors need to step up their game on who they hire at front desk. Currently looking for new doctors office .

I'd cut my leg with glass I'd picked up in a trash bag and they saw me Sunday afternoon: short wait; caring and attentive service. Very personable. Clean and organized. Follow-up appointment today was equally wonderful. HIGHLY recommend.

This practice is also listed under urgent care so I called to schedule appt for emergency visit and the receptionist said "we don't take new patients" sorry. Did not even take a moment to ask questions. They must list on their website that they're not taking patients. I just moved to area and this was def disappointing. If you're only in business for existing patients then you should not be in medicine.

Valencia Medical Care was my go-to doctor's office. The ONLY reason I'm no longer a patient here is that I moved! Staff is amazing, office is clean, and walk-ins are a breeze. I mostly saw PAs and did request my favorite when I could, which you can do! I have seen Dr. Yi a few times and he has VERY good bedside manner. He really loves caring for patients and that is felt throughout the practice.

Dr Yi is the best doctor Ive been seeing him for probably 5 years or so . If you cant get through to a person just keep trying they have an issue with their phones sometimes but be persistant and you will get through

Dr. Yi and his staff are INCREDIBLE! Had my first annual physical today. Dr. Yi has an outstanding bedside manner, is very knowledgeable and truly wants to understand any medical conditions you have. Yes, it is a bit difficult to schedule a physical but it is well worth the effort.

My fiancé and I were sent here on the 12th to get blood work done before she was to undergo knee surgery on the 14th. They took her blood, ran some other tests we needed done as well, and assured her that the results would be sent over as soon as they received them. Well we just got back from surgery and the results were never sent over which dumbfounded the staff at the surgical center at to why since they should have had the results long before then. This urgent care was terrible at maintaining any level of communication with us during the entire process as well. My fiancé’s name wasn’t even entered in the system correctly even though they had her ID and insurance card with her name printed out in plain legible English. My fiancé said that the medical staff were all amazing, it was just the front desk staff that are grossly incompetent at their jobs. Pick your poison I suppose.

Although the doctor is nice, the front office staff or a A bunch of babbling baboons. They will not pick up the phone nor will they return messages. They also seemed to have the inability to interact with the pharmacies around Valencia due to the fact that every prescription is never authorized until you physically go back to the doctors office and make it known to them. This is the worst excuse for an urgent care I have ever experienced
