Wanted a second opinion and got referred to this clinic, only to get turned away after driving an hour and a half all because The doctor preferred to get paid with a money order or with a cashiers check in order to prevent having to pay Henry Mayo, which is whom the clinic is attached to.
It was very inconvenient to be turned away for $100 that could have been charged to my debit card, gave me the runaround to go find somewhere to get a cashiers check so eventually I gave up and left without getting anything done, all because they were trying to avoid giving the hospital that apparently is tied to this clinic the $100 they were charging me!!!! Doing this to your patients after all we are dealing with for $100 is the most unprofessional unthoughtful disgusting Money hungry b/s I ever saw. If you want it in cash you should also provide the ATM to withdraw it from. Or a person to draw up cashier checks for you. Better yet you should post this everywhere and inform your staff to also clarify how you want to be paid. Not wait until we get there to say oh yeah btw we need it in a check cause we don’t want it deposited to the Henry mayo account?? What the hell does that have to do with me? You should have had this convo with Henry to make sure you got your money, not put the stress on the patient for $100! Pathetic

Nobody wants to be a regular at the breast cancer screening place (3 visits in one month) but if you absolutely have to then there's no better place around. The entire staff here is lovely! The ladies are down to earth, caring, and kind. The facility is clean. No significant wait times. Overall a good experience-thank you ladies!

I've been going to Sheila Veloz for years and have always had excellent care. Everyone from the front office to the tech's have always been so caring. I always get my letter every year telling me all was good and see you in a year. Well this year I got a call which I knew meant all was not okay. And it's not. I have a small mass and I have to go back for additional testing. Am I nervous? Of course I am but the tech Lisa who'd done my test the day before got on the phone and was as encouraging as she could be. The receptionist was very thoughtful and made sure both tests were done the sameday so I didn't have to wait. I can't say thank you enough. Sheila Veloz is #1 in my book. Thank you.

I come here once a year. Easy to schedule, in and out quick and the process always goes smooth. Till next year.

I have been trying to schedule a mammogram & ultrasound at this facility for over a month. My doctor has sent over the request twice, first time they said never received (I had the fax receipt); second time they received but never called to schedule me. So I called and was told that my doctor hadn't worded the request correctly. So they sat on the request for weeks rather than seeking clarity from me or my doctor. I then called and was informed they needed all my prior films and reports before they could schedule. I'm a high risk breast cancer patient and their lack of communication can literally kill me. Well, now I have no desire to schedule any diagnostic exam. I'm going to another facility that cares about their patients and that can ACTUALLY communicate with patients! After my experience I'm just not buying any positive reviews of this place. They deserve no stars.

Greeted with a smile. Knowledgeable, answered all of my questions. The ultrasound machine was impressive. I received my results in the mail from them 2 days after my exam. I had to wait a week to hear from my doctor's office. Kind employees and patients.

My experience here has been 5 stars from when I first called to having the mammogram to receiving the results. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind and caring. The mammogram was comfortable and when I shared that I'm sensitive, I received a caring response and I was 'handled' with care. I will be back and I highly recommend this office for mammograms. Thank you!

Trying to get a mamo here has been the biggest run around, I don't recommend this place to anyone that has a PPO and had mamos done at a different place.

I don't write many reviews, but felt compelled to after how positive my experience was. I had been going to another breast center for my annual mammograms, and had assumed that the experiences I had there were the norm. After an especially bad last experience, my doctor suggested I try the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center and get a fresh start. NIGHT AND DAY. They made an appointment for me quickly, there was no long wait in a crowded waiting room, everyone was extremely personable and helpful....and, the real kicker was they quickly mailed me my results with an explanation about what everything meant! They detailed what to look for in the future, and what not to worry about. While the last center I visited had many problems, the worst part was their lack of communication and treating me like a line item in accounts receivable. Now, I can't imagine ever going anywhere else.

The worst experience I've had in a medical facility. If you have the option to go elsewhere do. The intake woman was rude and unprofessional, the mammogram technician is rough, and the procedure painful. I'm left in bruises and pain. Absolutely worst bed side manner. An awful establishment and an awful experience.

First time patient here and everyone was so nice! Starting from the phone call reminder, to me checking in. Wonderful warm staff helps when you're stressed'. Highly recommended. Will definitely refer family and friends!

This facility is very welcoming. For me, it was my first time needing to come here so I was a bit stressed but the atmosphere they created made me feel more comfortable. The staff are courteous and kind and the doctor is very thorough, professional and comforting. They get everything done very quickly too so scheduling appointments is easy and work with your work schedule.

I recently moved to California and had to find new providers for things like annual mammograms etc. I couldn't be happier with the Sheila Veloz Breast Center. They are always friendly and kind at the desk and appointments are prompt and pleasant. I highly recommend them!

If I could give these people zero star I would! Most unorganized, rude, incompetent staff ever! Drove a far distance because that was their earliest appointment, got to my appointment earlier as they requested, sat there for 40 min, went to check on my appointment to see what happened to my turn and the front desk was literally clueless! Got someone else to come handle her incompetency and was told I need to reschedule because they don't have a radiologist on-site today. All meanwhile took time off with a screaming toddler in the car. Wasted 3 hours of my life I'm not gonna get back. Horrible!
