Me & my wife Margarita bought Medical Breakthrough 7 less a year ago. We pretty happy with the massage chair. All the members of the family come down every week pretending to visit us which they don’t before until we bought this massage chair. It come to a point that foot rest was disconnected from the main assembly. I call CS & wow amazed with Customer service support for us. I will named them like Michael Gabriel & Richard ( Technician) they were so helpful that the parts still in warranty came next day. Technician call me to schedule to come. The communication with them are so easy & quick responses. Thank you people that i talked to also to BREAKTHROUGH7 massage chair. I’m very excited to recommend this massage chair MEDICAL BREAKTHOUGH to my friends without hesitation with support of my experience.

The foot massager started having issues after 6 years. Contacted the company and they sent a tech over to fix it. It took 3 weeks for the tech to come but it's working like new. I use this chair 2 times a day

I love my MB chair. It gives amazing massages but like anything today, it needs to be reset every so often which I did not know at first. I thought my chair was "broken" (it wouldn't get past initiating) so I called customer service. The person I spoke with instructed me on what I could do (unplug, replug) while I wait for a technician to call. That fixed the hiccup. The technician called me to follow up numerous times because I was always unavailable but he persisted! Great customer service!! Love the chair! Love the service!

**BEWARE THEY DEMAND BAD REVIEWS TO BE REMOVED BEFORE THEY WILL MAKE ANY REPAIRS TO YOUR DEVICE...THE HIGH STAR RATINGS COMES FROM COERSION
So far disappointed. Had it 3 weeks. No instructions for assembly, paper inside that said watch this youtube video....was for a sauna assembly. Finally find the correct video and get it assembled. Multiple function dont work (pre-assembled functions) we call and are told tech will contact us in 2-3 days. He simple sends a video showing the connections...we check, everything is conected, we send a video back showing that, still not working. We have now called every 2 days for 3 WEEKS asking for a tech or help or assistance or anything to get our chair working and we have been told "they are too busy", "he will call today i promise", and/or "im sure your chair works fine its user error", we have had no other response from the company or the tech to repair our chair. Our next phone call will be for them to come take their 12k paper weight back.
Edit: we were contacted within the hour after this review was posted. Tech was very mean and told us they would not repair our chair until we removed this review. We refused. For over a week if back and forth they tried to pressure us to remove the review, and only giving minimal help by way of videos to show us how we were using it wrong. Then they switched to bribery, offering us a 2 year extended warranty in exchange of removing the review. They still hadnt fixed the broken chair, so we refused...what good is 2 years if you won't honor the initial warranty. They eventually sent us a new part, which worked, yay. But the heating elements they told us "were working fine, you just cant feel them because if they go warmer it, it would melt the plastic on the seat" so basically the seat warmers are an bullet-point upsale ploy that don't really function, they sent us a basic, regular heating pad from Amazon and told us to just "put it on and it's like the same thing" . Absurd. We certainly arnt "happy customers" and regret our purchase. But at least it's functioning now.

Work at a hospital that had the Breakthrough 8, use it whenever I can. I'm a nurse and on my feet a lot. Whenever I need to use the chair, it's annoying when someone's in it. Decided to get one for the house and use it when I get home. Worth it.

It took 2 weeks for the chair to arrive. Putting it together was simple, but you do need to use a friend and you need to know how to move heavy things. You just tilt it and let gravity do all the heavy lifting. Tilt the chair, put a furniture dolly which you can get for $15 from home depot and you can easily move it around. It took 30 minutes to install the chair. Just wanted to give my thoughts after using it for a week, very impressed with it. It's great after a long day's work. Massage you to sleep is what it does.

My family got me the Break X for my 47 birthday. I love that you can adjust the intensity of the airbags and the massaging, especially for the lower back. You can move the back roller up and down like a joystick like some of the other reviewers said, hitting all the spots that you need. Before getting the chair, sometimes I had to rush to the chiropractor because my back pain is so bad. With the X, I haven't felt the need to go in 2 months. The chair takes away a lot of the pain.
I would totally recommend this chair to anyone with back issues. You don't have to live with pain.

I was able to put this chair together myself. The preset modes are spot on, and I love that I can tweak the settings to my liking. At first, the feet rollers felt a bit intense, but now they're my favorite part after a long day. The chair comes with a bunch of pads so make sure you use those in the beginning, they will make things lighter. Expect to be a bit sore after the first few uses if you haven't gotten a massage in a while, but once you get into a routine, this chair is fantastic.

What I don't like:
It took 4 weeks to get here.
The shipping company didn't call first before they came
There are wheels but you have to use a furniture dolly to move it around
What I like:
The massage is extremely good.
The remote is easy to use
The hand massage and foot massage is the best part
The chair is well built
The chair is very comfortable
At the end of the massage you can fall asleep unlike other chairs I tried

I've owned three massage chairs, so I've got some experience in this area. My first chair, bought at a convention, lasted only a year before breaking down. Despite a three-year warranty, the company charged mileage fees for repairs, which I found unacceptable. I got rid of it and bought another from a different company. The second chair was decent, but I ended up giving it to a family member who needed it more. For my third purchase, I did extensive research and decided on the Medical Breakthrough, specifically the Breakthrough X. It turned out to be the best of the three, covering more massage areas than the other two.
When buying a massage chair, it's essential to have realistic expectations, especially regarding features and performance relative to price. I bought the Breakthrough X as a birthday present to myself, and after a year of use, here's what I've found.
The chair is massive and heavy, making it a chal
lenge to move and position. However, the assembly was straightforward and quick. I like the fact that it is big because it covers the entire body.
Initially, the lower back massage was too intense, but after putting on some of the pads that came with the chair, it was a lot more comfortable. You only need the pads during the first month or two as your body adjusts. Once you get massages regularly, you'll start to like stronger massages. Strong massage is good, in my opinion, because it squeezes your body and gives you a lot of natural energy.
The foot massage is one of the best features of the Breakthrough X. It actually moves your feet back and forth and even massages my toes. Anytime I have any fatigue, I just get in the chair and put it on the strongest setting, and I feel better.
Overall, the Breakthrough X has been a good purchase. I love the extensive massage coverage.

This chair is a lifesaver for me! I'm 37 years old with scoliosis (as shown in one of the pictures) and I’ve had back pain since my mid 20’s. Prior to the chair it was a common thing that I could not even bend over and touch my knees due to the tightness. This shouldn’t be a problem for a guy like me at 5’ 9” and 140 lbs. The worst was that my lower back was so tight that I was having sciatica pain regularly. After spending literally thousands of dollars for massages over the years to keep me loose I finally gave into buying a chair. It has done exactly what I was hoping it would do for me. I’ve had the chair for 3+ years now and I have not gone to a massage therapist once since my purchase. So by now the chair has actually saved me money. In 3+ years I’ve had only one issue with the chair not working, but the service tech talked me through what needed to be done to fix the issue. It took literally 5 minutes of my time and the chair was back to normal. So A+ to the customer service team. Thanks to this chair I’ve saved money, I’m able to save PTO hours by not taking time off to go to get a massage, I have less pain to no pain in my life and I get a better night’s sleep when I use it before bed. So it’s an easy 5 out of 5 for me.

My name is Michael and I purchased the #7 chair about 5 years ago. I am 75 years young and love this chair. I have a slipped disc. In L4 and experience daily pain regularly. This chair has changed my life by reducing my pain immensely. My sleep has improved and I use it every day and sometimes twice a day. The customer service is top notch and I would recommend their products to anyone. Try one and I think you will love it like I do. Thank you.

I bought a Medical Breakthrough 6 plus Massage Chair about a few month ago. The chair looks great, sleek and shining quietly at the corner. We use it every day, esp. my son who is doing sports training, so the chair really helps him relax the muscle. It has many programs to choose. It massages on head, neck, back, shoulder, arm, hand, calf and feet. It's a high quality massage chair. The entire family love it!
