“I came into have my brakes done and tire checked out since it was losing air quickly. Everybody was so very nice and friendly. Since I had to wait a little bit the receptionist even let me borrow her phone charger how kind! They patched my tire (it had a screw in it) and did my brakes in a timely fashion they told me it would be about two hour wait, it was less than that. The customer service was exceptional and the warranty on the brakes and tires make the price point worth it. Also while sitting and watching it looked like everybody was working really hard and had a good attitude. I am beyond impressed and will be returning for new tires soon! Thank you Les Schwab!”

“I have been coming to this shop for years and have never had any problems until today. A tire that I purchased from them recently went flat yesterday, and I took my car back to the shop to ask about receiving a new one for a discount. Because of some of the reviews on here, I was a bit worried. It took a slight amount of fuss from me, but when I remained patient and calm they agreed to help me out. The guys there explained that it was probably a rim issue, and not a tire issue. He took the time to inspect my tire rim, and identified the leak. He cleaned the rim and replaced the tire. Despite the language barrier, he showed me throughout the process what he was identifying and what he would do next. He did not allow me to pay him, and performed the repair for free.

I highly recommend this shop. As a woman I find it hard to trust mechanics, even though I do most of the work on my car myself. These guys have always been kind and show me the problems that they’ve identified. They’re cheap, honest and surprisingly reliable.”

“They are all very polite and respectful of my needs. Unfortunately it was a bad day for me. On my way to a Dental appointment and my car broke down. Being a retired Auto Technician for over 50 years and ran an Auto repair shop for over 45 years. I did no what was wrong with my car, but I decided to let someone else take care of it. The hardest part of my day was having to sit out there on a Farm road for over 2 hours was unfortunately was incredibly difficult. Not triple A’s problem there was a lot of emergency calls. There are days like that. I at least had phone service but no internet. Had plenty of water and snacks in the car.

“6/15/23: My CostCo Tire Center Vacaville appointment was set up at my convenience a week in advance by friendly professional technician Mark who processed my payment, explained warranty details, and patiently addressed my questions and concerns. Today my vehicle went in at 10:48 a.m. and done by 11:17 a.m., allowing me shopping time. My incredibly knowlegeable technical advisor today was Marcus who had been one of my Armijo English students in 2009. Though my Michelin tires purchased were not on sale, I am thoroughly pleased with the 80,000 mile warranty and the full range of auxiliary services guaranteed with this reasonably-priced set of 4 new tires that makes me so glad to be a long-time CostCo member! “I was always team Costco and never looked Sam's way. But over a year ago, it was by chance of a discount membership through work that I became a Sam's member. After my year membership, I was absolutely happy to renew. Sam's offers a variety of everything! Candy, snacks, wines, drinks, dairy, meats...you name it! I love their easy app check out (minus alcohol because you need to be carded!). I can get lost here for hours with no complaints. My experience with the gas lines have been pleasant. I am appreciative that the lines go in one direction ( enter and exit). You can use your app to scan and pay. It's #thankyouThursday and I wanted to shout out Sam's club for the awesome prices, great service and selection! We will continue to be members for years to come.”

“I was having car trouble a couple weeks ago, passing through town alone from the Bay Area. I had 2 1/2 hours more to go. A warning light came on saying “AC off due to high engine temp”. Also, my temperature gauge and AC stopped working. It was a hot Sunday, which was concerning knowing that most places are not typically open. I was so grateful to find out that Firestone in Vacaville was indeed open! I pulled up to the back of the building and was greeted by Paul and John. I have nothing but good things to say about these two gentlemen. They were very attentive, patient, caring about my situation being alone and far from home, and jumped right on the issue. They immediately ran some diagnostics and discovered a malfunctioning electronic programming issue. They resolved it, and even gave me the electronic error code that my car generated, so I could provide it to my mechanic when I got home. My engine did not overheat, and the temperature gauge and AC began working properly again! They didn’t charge me for the visit, and then sent me on my way with comfort that I would have a safe drive home. Thank you Paul, John & Firestone for your exceptional service!”
