Terrible experience. We found our later the only have two Enrolled Agents, and do "in house" training for the rest of the employees. The tax preparer, Yvonne, was disorganized and and confused. I had the files and worksheets in order, she took them from me and them in piles on her already loaded desk top. She didn't know why labor and cost of materials were listed separately. I explained that labor was deducted in the year it was done and material was depreciated over time. She couldn't understand why we didn't have 1099 for rental income and I kept telling her that we managed our rentals and couldn't issue a 1099 to ourselves. She finally said she was out of time and would finish the return that night. When we picked up the tax return, it was full of errors. She had listed the income twice on one property. We went back showed her the errors, she argued and finally agreed to correct the forms. We made our third trip to the office to pick up the "corrected" forms. They still weren't right so I called and said I wanted to speak to the owner/manager. I was told she was with a client and would call us back. She went over the return and found seven errors before she called us. They had to file an amended return, we made our fourth trip to the office. We had told her we wanted auto pay set up for 2023 estimated taxes and 2022 refunds carried forward to pay estimated taxes. We found out she hadn't done that when we got checks for 2022 overpayment.

Even though I've moved out of the area, I still return to the Tax Factory! Excellent service, friendly caring staff, I've used Tax Factory for years, and will never change! Thank you, Sylvia and Deleta!

Worst company to go to! Yolanda did my taxes. She first gave me back my file without making copies for the office. So i had to bring the file back for her to make copies and not get in trouble. She and the owners both were telling me i had health insurance all last year when i did not. I then googled what 2A meant on the health insurance form and it stated that the employer did not carry health insurance. So i was then doing her job. Telling her that in fact, no i did not have health insurance. I have someone else's refund in my bank account and they are telling me the bank should've never accepted it. Wow! I had one owner asking me if i wanted a refund. That wasn't the intention of my phone call but after she brought it up, i said that would be nice but also i would like for my taxes to be done right! Not 10 min later, the other owner is calling me stating she's not giving me a refund, arguing with me and ended up hanging up on me! This is all over them messing up on MY taxes! Lol so unprofessional!

Sylvia is AMAZING, she has done our taxes for 3 decades and we have extremely happy with her. She has advised us on multiple issues with positive results, as our lives changed. Three decades is a long time. Can't begin to say enough wonderful things about the results we have had with her, very professional and very nice.
