Disappointing Experience - Lack of Professionalism.
I brought in my 2010 Toyota Corolla to this mechanic due to starting issues and rough idling. Despite clearly outlining the problem, I received poor service and an erroneous diagnosis. After a mere half-day of diagnostics, I was charged $185 and told I needed a new engine. Dissatisfied with this assessment, I sought a second opinion and discovered the true issue: a faulty valve causing compression loss, a problem easily identified with proper examination. The subsequent repair, completed elsewhere, cost a fraction of the initial diagnosis and resolved the issue completely.This experience highlights the lack of professionalism and competence at this establishment. The mechanic's failure to conduct thorough diagnostics and provide an accurate assessment demonstrates a concerning disregard for customer satisfaction and quality service. Potential customers beware: trust and reliability are sorely lacking here. Avoid at all costs.

Took my 2016 Subaru Forester XT in for an oil change and was impressed by the honesty and speed of the service. The cost was fair and the quote I got on future maintenance for my suspension was lower than I expected. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Shout out to Randy for all the help.

I brought my 2007 Ford Focus in for a brake job. First time visit. I got a call a little later with the estimate. The gentleman also let me know a motormount was in poor condition and did I want to replace it. The whole job was done quickly and professionally. My car, although is a sedan, sounded like a loud truck for years, and neither Firestone Tire or our previous mechanics could figure out why. They said it needed a tune-up, which we did, and the loud annoying noise continued. Bringing my car in to Stones County Tire and Auto for a simple brake job, the geniuses there, saw an additional problem (the bad motor-mount) and fixed the noise problem we had lived with for years! We of course, highly recommend this shop, they really know their stuff.
