Purchased a car at Mazzei Chevrolet on December 16. Mike Wallace helped us and did a great job. I had spoken to him beforehand with what I was looking for and he had done his research and answered all of my questions. When I wanted to look at a different car for comparison he promptly retrieved it. The support staff were very professional and the paperwork portion was done very efficiently. Matt Mazzei runs a great shop and we highly recommend them.

Test drove a car listed for $15,994 on Tuesday December 5. I liked it and discussed the price with Mike Wallace, Internet Sales Manager. I was trying to get them to negotiate on the price but Mike showed me a printout from V-Auto that made it look like the car was fairly priced. He said if I put $5,000 down, the payment would be $250/month for 60 months. I went home and used the DMV's vehicle registration fee calculator and entered the car's license plate and VIN and it calculated $1,600 in fees. So the car's price plus DMV fees would be $17,600 out the door and my monthly payment would be $250/month for 60 months. I thought about it and called the dealership and the next step was to apply for credit. My credit score is over 800. After they ran my credit, they gave me a written quote including $3,650 for a service contract, $895 for cilajet ceramic coating, and $299 for security guard stickers and a monthly payment of $353/month. I said I didn't want any of that. They took off the service contract but refused to remove or reprice the cilajet or security guard stickers and the new quote was $281/month. I said no, I am only willing to put $5,000 down and pay $250/month for 60 months. They said they can do this but for 66 months. I said no. A payment of $250/month for 66 months is equivalent to an out the door price of $19,300, or $1,700 more than what Mike said before they ran my credit. So looking back on the conversation with Mike Wallace, I now understand this dealership's business model. They price their vehicles to be at the low end to appear very competitive, but then after they run your credit (which lowers your credit score) they add on $4,844 in garbage. But if you add the price of these garbage products to the price of the vehicle, it turns out the dealership's prices are not competitive at all, so essentially what Mike showed me from V-Auto is based on false, misleading information. At the 30,000 foot level, I offered them $17,600 for a car they have listed for $15,994, which is in my opinion, a fair deal for both parties. Unfortunately, when I said no to 66 months, that was the end of it. They did not counteroffer and they let me walk. Now I will take my business elsewhere but my credit score is lower since Mazzei ran my credit.

I'd give it no stars if I could. Purchased my car here 3 months ago, gave me the highest APR ever and I'm in the military we aren't suppose to have anything over 9% and i got 18%. Anyways my check engine light came on THE NEXT DAY. I tried 3x to bring it in the shop and the guys working in the auto office were jerks. First it was I didn't have an appointment so I scheduled one, showed up for it and then he proceeded to say I still didn't have an appointment and refused to look at my car because my engine light wasn't on, which I told him it comes off and on. I am absolutely FURIOUS with this place, highway robbery seriously. I took my car to the Chevrolet in Fairfield and they got it in and looked at it and ordered the part and fixed it. $600 LATER. Which is bs, drove off the lot with this problem it should be on their dime.

Very very good customer service by everyone I encountered. I primarily worked with Mike Wallace super super nice guy very knowledgeable and informative. When Mike was not available Jonny helped me again nice guy informative both were very patient too. They did not rush me at any point I triremes like 4 times to test drive cars ask questions etc etc etc. They really worked with me to get a a fit for me, my budget , my likes and dislikes.I was very impressed . Kudos to Mazzei Chevrolet!!!!

Just purchased a 2022 Chevy suburban from Ron Kaell at Mazzei Chevrolet.I have purchased several vehicles from dealerships over the past 15 yrs and can say this was by far the best buying experience with highly competitive pricing!!Ron was great communicating via text (my preference) and we hammered out most of the details well in advance of my arriving. Scheduled an appointment for 10am that included Ron meeting & greeting me, a test drive, financing options (Corey was awesome), and paper signing. Was out the door in less than 1.5hrs!Thanks Ron, Corey & the Mazzei Chevrolet team!Only feedback to Mazzei Chevrolet is begin to develop the capability for buyers to complete transactions 100% online. Will be able to service a broader consumer base.Highly recommend and will purchase from them again in the future.

Be advised - when buying a used car from this dealer, they tack on a forced $1,200 ceramic coating and "security stickers". They refuse to allow you to remove these absolutely unnecessary and non-consented options. They lost a sale today because they wanted to play nonsense dealership games. I get it, many dealers do nonsense like this. And every single one that participates in this theft should be ostracized. The salesman was reasonably polite - but the games this place plays is a red flag.Stay clear from dealerships that throw nonsense fees and unwarranted "accessories" onto sales and expect you not to notice. It's a terribly unethical practice. And unfortunately, they are deep into it. I do not recommend. Stay clear.

Our car buying experience at Mazzei Chevrolet could not have gone smoother. The process was seamless. Their prices cannot be beat! Michael W. was so accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bought a used car here that supposedly had gone through an extensive test to make sure everything was good. A week after I picked it up the thermostat broke and the tire pressure light came on. It was a huge hassle to have them fix the thermostat and they ignored the tires. I had to buy two new tires as they were poorly patched before I bought the car. I also had to buy a new battery because the original one had less than 25% of battery life. When buying a car here be careful because they try to sell you several coverages on paint and security without pointing it out until you ask. They won't return your calls or emails after you buy a used car there. You have to go there for someone to talk to you and even then they try to make you go away and seem very annoyed because you want them to fix the lemon they sold you. I was told I was lucky they didn't charge me for a loaner while they fixed the car I had just bought from them which took over a week. My car was not detailed, not even cleaned. It still had the sticky spills and dirt in it from the previous owner. The floor mats were missing and I only received one key and barely any gas in it. I wouldn't buy a used car here again. I usually buy from carmax and they are way better and more trustworthy than this place.

I purchased my first car today, and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. Ron Kaell helped me purchase my car, and he was nice, funny, helpful, and very informative. Because this was my first car purchase, so he made sure that I understood everything. Overall, the process went well, and I am very happy with my purchase.
