The lady in the front desk was really rude…
It almost seem that she had a problem with us speaking Spanish.
And when it was time to make the contract she ask if it was going to be in my wife’s name and she ask dose she speaks ingles?
Very unprofessional the way that question was asked.
To later tell me that the reason was just in case she had to talk to her because they don’t have any translators.
And told us to go elsewhere ware that spoke Spanish

Some of the staff people who answers the phone at 4:53pm, whom are not polite, say they cannot take payments over the phone because the computers shut down at 4:30pm. Perhaps try changing the hours in Google say your business closes at 4:30pm rather than 5:00pm could be helpful for busy people or have the option to pay online.

Now they r charging me for may since I didn't get to the office b4 5 trying to sweep rat p**** Also andy said I left graffiti outside. It was my grad daughter wrote her name in Chalk on the ground. These folks r just ridiculous.

BEWARE!!! All of our stuff in our until is ruined! Infested with rat feces, cockroach and RAIN!! When the rat problem started they chewed up 2 $5,000 machines I had stored in there and the company did nothing but put rat traps that didn't work! And now today I went there and my boxes are wet from the rain. It has ruined family memories such as pictures etc and our belongings. All of it will now go into the garbage. Whatever you do, go pay a little more for a place that actually cares about maintaining their units.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They claimed we did not fill the tank on a rental truck. We have receipts but they claimed we did not. We dropped off the truck and it was in their front lot over night as instructed by the manager. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE SAY, PERIOD. They would not help us dispute the claim or check their security cameras for us; They are LYING or covering up that dropped off rentals are having their gas SIPHONED. THESE PEOPLE ARE GRIFTERS. They are the LEAST helpful and inconsiderate business in town. Please talk to the manager and see for yourself if this is someone you think should be interacting with customers. I wish I had trusted my gut when first talking to this person.

My best friend had a huge snafu when trying to rent a truck from U-Haul...three different instances of errors. But, the young woman at Peabody self-storage not only identified the problem, but she created a viable solution and even made accommodations for my friend and took the extra effort to reduce his cost and extend his mileage for the trouble, as she put it, "we" have caused. She took ownership of a problem she had no part in creating and provided a solution. It's rare that i give U-Haul 5 stars. My main regret - I failed to write her name down. To the young woman who saved the day and set minds at ease: thank you for understanding Customer Service, and thank you for your patience and dilligence. U-Haul, seriously consider letting this fine person educate your staff on what excellent service ACTUALLY is.
