This is an unbelievable collection of palms at great prices. You would have to drive hundreds of miles to find all these palms anywhere else, and you would probably pay a lot more. Palm trees are not as expensive as you think, especially if you have time to let them grow. They are an amazing investment and not only are they enjoyable to be around but they really increase the value of your property. If you are going to let a palm tree get huge over years definitely start with a very interesting palm that will be more valuable than just the standard varieties. This is the place to find special palms, and the right palm fir the situation. It is also the best place for tropical foliage in Northern california, by FAR. There are lots of other plants besides the palms.They all are very tropical looking and give great accompaniment to the palms. Definitely worth the drive.

This is a serious Palm Island. You will find the same palms that you can find at some other nurseries, but at half the price. Then you will find some palms that are not so easy to find, and these are also much less expensive than anywhere else. If you love palms this is an incredible find, a treasure trove. Many people would be surprised that there are lots of palms that thrive in our Northern California environment. It has changed our house and our lives.

My wife inquired about getting a palm tree removed from our yard. We were on the fence about getting rid of it. Palm Island Nursery came to my house today and removed it without our permission. The last email that my wife sent was asking if having a sprinkler head near the tree would be a problem. Dale responded by scheduling service that we did not agree to. He scheduled the service in less than 24 hours of his reply without our knowledge or agreement. I woke up and my tree was gone. I called and talked to the owner. He is not trying to remedy the situation at all and even hung up on me. They removed it so they could resale it. I want it back! Update: Went to this business and could see my palm tree sitting in his lot for sale. He said he will not be giving it back unless we pay him about $800. Sounds like tree ransom. Beware of doing business with Dale Motiska (business owner of Palm Island Nursery Outlet) Going to have to go to small claims for this now.

We have been SO thrilled with Palm Island Nursery. Dale designed a beautiful, unique shade garden/patio for us. His team took out the existing landscape, prepped the full area, installed all of our plant materials and reinforced all of our irrigation. The trees, plants and shrubs are beautiful quality. He and his team worked hard and did a beautiful job. We are thrilled with the finished product and will use him again to upgrade our front yard!

Great selection and good prices based on my prior experiences last year. Not sure what changed, but customer service is now terrible. Have been several times and waited 15+ minutes to get checked out and nobody available to help me. Left empty handed both times. Won't be back.

Zero customer service. I wanted to shop "local" but I'll get our palm trees at Costco instead lol! Also they their prices are not accurate on their website, add $20 to the prices listed.

its a nice nursery for palms and cycads. it may seem expensive but those types of plants are usually are. The place has a better selection than most in northern California.

We are so happy with the results of our landscaping! From the beginning when Dale, (landscape designer) came to our house, to the end result, has been such a positive experience.We have received so many compliments on the design, I wish we had done it sooner. I had a vision of what I wanted, but Dale surpassed all my expectations. He has a great eye and knows what works! If you’re looking for palms, look no further. Thanks Dale!!

I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff member today who helped me. I never caught his name but he is 21 and was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful, answering every question I had thoroughly. Definitely takes his work seriously and has a passion for plants. Overall great experience and was happy to support a local business.
