My surgeon Dr. Mok is no longer employed at Kaiser, so I was given an appointment with the arrogant and dismissive Dr. Steven Schule. I received no help from Dr. Schule, in fact he was less than honest in his statements. Dr. Mok told me, when I saw him a year after my hip replacement, that I would be able to cross me leg in time. He never said not to cross my leg. It is now almost three years since my surgery and I still cannot cross my leg, without help from my arms. All my friends, in my age group, have been able to cross their legs after healing. Physical Therapy said not to cross my leg for 6 to 8 weeks after surgery. PT never said and neither did Dr. Mok say, I shouldn't cross my leg. Instead of offering help and encouragement, Dr. Schule took the quickest way out of having to help some other surgeons patient, by simply saying never to cross my leg. I go to the gym 6 days a week to try and strengthen my muscles. My ten dollar co-pay and my time was wasted. If it didn't take two months to get an appointment with another Doctor, I would. I know Dr, Schule worked at Kaiser, went into private practice and when that didn't work out, back to Kaiser.

Making progress weekly and getting much needed range of motion back with exercises. Cory takes the time to explain each new movement and then makes certain I understand by asking me to demonstrate before I leave. Each new exercise is more of a challenge.

Upon greeting, my 5 yr old Autistic Son said,"hi I have a red and blue nintendo switch." To which Dr. stated, "wow none of those were actually words." Also once I was given my eye prescription, I stated I may check out Costco for glasses as they have good deals. Dr. replied w/ "Yeah, I don't really care about any of that at all." I did compliment him on his "dry" humor. I work in the medical field and may I say I would never speak to a pt the way he did. I just thought I should mention in hopes he doesn't treat others that way.
