We have been coming here since 2019. Dr. Singh and the entire team has always taken the best care of my dog, they always take their time answering all of my questions and concerns, never make me feel rushed. Dr. Singh really takes his time and has a very great way about making you feel heard, but easing your mind. I have had a few bad vet experiences in Socal... I can tell you the service and care received here is like none other, to the point, we use to live up here, live in Socal, but I literally come up every few months to keep Dr. Signh and the team. I know without a doubt my dog will be taken care of and we won't be turned away. After ER visits inn socal and trying to follow up with a "primary there" and was turned away.. without hesitation we made the drive back up here so Alice could be seen by her normal vet here, Dr.Singh. The entire team here loves and cares about your baby, and if you tell them the situation and they think your baby needs to come in sooner, they will try their best (within capabilities, busy is busy and they are only human, people need to understand sometimes, in order to give your pet the best care and if they are busy, there just isn't an opening) to get you in as soon as they can. Dr.Singh also took care of our cat, that passed two years ago. We lost our cat to large Cell lymphoma, and while waiting on the biopsy when she started to really not do well, Dr gave us prednisone and gabepentin to help her, and help keep her comfortable. Even though he said usually he waits for the diagnosis, he understood she wasn't doing well and he gave it to us early to help keep her comfortable. Dr.Singh is someone you and your babys can trust. Also shoutout to Esparanza who is always smiles, happy to see us, understands we travel to and from here from Socal, always gets us in, encourages me to send photos if I am ever worried and away, and also handles my 1 million questions, but always makes me feel heard, validated and never rushes me. Honestly don't understand the couple of bad reviews, I think people forget this clinic IS busy, because they are good at what they do. If someone isn't getting back to you promptly, it's not because they don't care, every baby is important. Every baby matters. But like human hospitals, some babys need a little more attention, some cases come before others because they are more urgent as inn time could be the difference between life and death. Maybe as a registered nurse, I understand the concept of everyone is important, but some people/pets may need to be prioritized first, but that doesn't mean they will not get you in or don't care. Don't let the couple of bad reviews steer you away, it should speak for itself that they are always busy and full and that I literally drive from Orange County here when we no longer live up here so my dog can be seen by a trusted, caring vet. In January, we came here to get my dogs yearly dental because I don't trust any other vet to put my dog under, when VCA said she needed an endoscopy, I said nope, we will follow up with Dr.Singh, and if he thinks she needs it, he will be the only one doing it. I can ramble a little, and the clinic knows that and is patient with me, anyhow I can go on for years on why you should choose this vet to be your primary vet.

I've used this vet for a few years and twice I've had a problem with Dr calling me back when I've had an issue or even a question about my pet. I have a new puppy with a skin issue and they couldn't try to squeeze me in for weeks. The lady who answered the phone laughed and was totally disrespectful when I was very worried about my dog. I asked to have the Vet call me back and he never did. That's the second time that's happened. Not to mention the phones are always down. I do not recommend. Very sad because I've recommended many people. Never again.

If I could give 7 stars I would. I am a high anxiety dog mama as it is so she. It comes to my fur baby being sick or injured, good luck keeping me calm. Usually my boyfriend handles the vet visits but he was working so this was on me. I called last minute praying I could get my sweet girl in to see Dr Singh and somehow they made it happen day of. Esperanza and Melanie were sweet, patient, and put up with my antics and anxiety. I really couldn't as for a better veterinary practice to take care of our baby. Thank you to all of you today for all of your help and comfort.

Very disappointed in this outfit. I had an appointment for two weeks, and I called to verify the appointment time. I was told our appointment was given to someone else. We got no text or anything regarding this. I took time off work to take the pet in & get treated like this. They were not accommodating at all. I will NOT be back ever.

Air Force family here. The website states that they are accepting new clients in various places. I called and was out on hold for 10 minutes. I then utilized the online system to request an appointment as a new client. Three days went by with absolutely no response, save an initial email that stated they'd get back with me shortly. Three days isn't "shortly" when I indicate in my request that my pet is on medication and we are a military family that just moved here from overseas. I called again and was extremely polite stating that I was calling to follow up on an appointment request. The receptionist informed me that the clinic isn't accepting new clients and was very dismissive when I suggested the site be updated as it would help them weed out unwanted communication. I rarely complain, especially on the internet, but hope this review prompts them to update their website as the many vets in the area have done (which is unfortunate) or at least to respond to requests as timely as possible. This place came highly recommended and I am extremely disappointed

Family Pet hospital is close to a Pho restaurant in Vacaville (yes, this is the main way I remember how to get there) I was very nervous to take my sweet fur baby here because of past experiences with veterinarians. However, Dr. Singh and his team are AMAZING. They are so kind, gentle, and respectful to me and my baby. I recently decided to get her spay done and I was also nervous about the healing! The incision itself was very small and it healed up rapidly. My kitty is very happy and healthy post surgery. I highly recommend Family Pet Hospital! Thank you Dr. Singh, and the rest of the team.

We recently came in for a quote on getting our puppy spayed. We went in for an initial consolation and was given the price on paper. They they explained to us that we had to come in for a second appointment before the procedure, for her blood testing since her breed was known for blood clots. Before we scheduled, we had mentioned that she just started heat, they said it wasn't an issue. We come in about 1-2 weeks later with a diaper on our pup. We waited 30 minutes in the waiting area. They called us and right before we went in, the Vet tech asked us if shes in heat and we said she was, she then said she couldn't take her in for the test because shes in heat...why couldn't they tell us that when we initially scheduled the appointment? We called them back to cancel the spay because she didn't get blood work. 3 weeks later they called us asking if were dropping her off for her procedure. WTF, Their team seems to be very disorganized and does not have good communication skills. The receptionist talks in very condescending way, I know this is not how you answer the phone because I have previous experience being a medical receptionist. Sometimes they would put me on hold and take me off hold and ask who I was even though I previously given that information and had already been waiting to schedule an appointment for my dog. Not to mention that when we went in for her evaluation, the doctor barely said she words to us. He walked out and the vet technician came in and talk to us about her health and pre procedure instructions. Why couldn't the doctor do that?

If you care about the well-being of your animals, please do not bring them to this practice. The vet (Dr. Singh) has a horrific bedside manner with his patients, and is incredibly condescending and unkind towards his patients owners. After booking an appointment with Dr. Singh to address persistent ear infections/allergies in our family dog, we have a lot to say about the experience we had at the Family Pet Hospital. First, we were not informed that "double booked" appointments meant that owners were not allowed to accompany their pets in exam rooms. This is a problem for our family, as our dog has some anxiety issues, and requires a familiar face in the exam room during checkups. Despite all of this, my mom decided to proceed with the appointment because our dog was in dire need of medical care. During this exam, we were informed that our dog defecated (out of fear), which prompted Dr. Singh to come out to the lobby to guilt and condescend my mother. This is upsetting as a pet owner. You never want to think that someone you are paying hundreds of dollars to heal your pet is reacting in anger or disgust towards your dog during a desperately needed medical exam. After this incident occurred, we were informed that the veterinarian was unwilling to move forward with administering the allergy treatment unless we paid nearly 360$ to sedate him---which for us, was too steep a price to pay for a service that a different veterinarian (at the same clinic) had done for roughly 150$ a couple months prior. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Singh's technicians brought us out the allergy treatment and informed us that we would have to do it ourselves. So to put things into perspective, we were charged 130$ to be condescended by Dr. Singh, and at the conclusion of this horrible visit, we were sent on our way to administer a medication that is really only supposed to be handled by trained medical professionals. While we do understand that it can be a struggle to work with reactive/anxious animals, it is unacceptable for any veterinarian to treat their patients with such disrespect. Additionally, pet owners should never be reprimanded or talked down to for having price concerns regarding expensive medical treatments. It is literally the job of medical professionals to help folks to better understand the health of their pets, and to answer any questions/concerns that may arise during medical treatment. We also wanted to say that the vet techs at this place were immensely kind--our problem was with Dr. Singh, not any of them. We will not be coming back to this practice. Hopefully we can find a caring and reasonably priced veterinarian to help heal our beloved dog before he starts to experience hearing loss.

Dr. Singh and his staff are THE BEST. I have 4 rescue dogs and bring them 3 here. They aren't the best behaved dogs because they're rescues but the staff knows just how to deal with them. Super sweet and I highly recommend going here. They are busy as every vet is nowadays but they always make time. My dog got a foxtail in her nose and they asked if I could be there within 45 minutes, I was there in 30 and took her home 2 hours later. I can't say enough good things about this staff. Also, one of my older rescues has had eyes problems her whole life and once Dr. Singh changed her meds from what the shelter had her on, SHES LIKE A NEW DOG NOW. He's very knowledgeable and knows exactly what your pet needs.

I advise everyone to stay away from this Shady veterinary place. I took my dog in for an ear cleaning and foxtail removal. And now he is completely deaf! He could hear just fine before he went in. The head guy (Singh) lied straight to my face numerous times. He allows his “helpers” to do things they are not certified to do. And refused to provide me with my dogs medical records. This place is horrible. Don’t ever take your pets there! He needs to be shut down.

I love family pet Hospital. Dr. Singh has been great with my dogs. And the front office staff is always so nice when you call in. And they're pretty good about being able to get you in fairly quickly
