Dr Canton saved our dog's sight. After our original ophthalmologist decided to remove both of her eyes, due to complications from severe dry eye. We searched for another opinion. Everyone we talked to led us to Dr Canton. This was in the height of the pandemic. As overwhelmed as they were, treating so many animals they managed to fit us in for a consultation. Dr. Canton and staff were compassionate and caring. Dr. Canton still had to remove one eye but was able to save the other. This was more than we could hope for. Our dog Daisy is back to being her bossy self and getting along great. This is a very professional team that does their best to provide the best care possible.

I called and specifically was referred to Dr. Canton by two of my vets that had seen my puppy. The receptionist hung up on me twice her name is Jessica. Hopefully Dr. Canton receives this message and realizes his help needs to be a little more respectful to clients. I was a vet tech for 15 years and never treated anybody like this. I have a three week old puppy that I would like to be examined by him that had an eye problem previous and I was concerned about long-term damage. To be hung up on like this is unacceptable. Especially when all we are trying to do is take care of one of our babies. From one professional to another. Hire some new help.

This is the kindest vet I have ever met! I do agree with most who have commented. My dog Bentleigh is also very terrified of vets. He greeted her with such love and calmness she was still for him while he did multiple testing on her eyes and even gave him doggy kisses during the exam. You can tell the entire staff loves animals!!
