Costco Tire Center lacks proactiveness and responsibility. I have been on a spare for almost three weeks because a tire that they didn’t not order when they said they ordered it hasn’t arrived. I have called and have been told that the manager Mark would call me back in three separate occasions. I have yet to talk to him. They told me my tire would be expedited. It’s been one week. The tire is coming from San Jose. Apparently they are making rubber there. I don’t think they know what expedite means. A regular tire shipment is 7-10 days (a man there told me). They have no professionalism as I have asked 3 times for an ETA for the tire. Again beginning deferred to the manager whom I was told would call me back and never did. Such a huge inconvenience. I have warranty with Costco on all my tires but I will never go back to Costco. I’d rather pay full prices elsewhere and get better service. I am greatly disappointed in them. They have poor efficiency and no sense of responsibility. Terrible place.

Worst tire shop that I have dealt with. They seem to have no incentive to help customers.I bought tires from here last fall, and this spring I noticed all my tire balance weights laying in my driveway. This is supposedly under warranty. I made an appointment 10 days ahead of time. I dropped off my vehicle 15 minutes early for them. 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time they told me that they did nothing to my vehicle and wouldn't work on it. They just took off one lug nut then parked my vehicle in the lot. When I went to pick it up they handed me that lug nut and told me that they are 3 weeks out for appointments. So in the end I wasted a month of my life waiting for them to fix THEIR mistake. And the best they could do was take off a lug nut and hand it to me, actually making my vehicle worse off. I recommend that nobody takes their vehicle to Costco for tires because there are so many better shops in the area. Any other shop, really.This experience especially stung because my time is very limited at the moment because we just had a baby and getting out of the house is very difficult on the whole family right now. So wasting what little time I have, and potentially causing damage to my vehicle for failing to fix a situation that they caused is unacceptable. Now they expect me to drive my wife and newborn child around in a vehicle that we both know is not properly maintained. I hope that other people read this and save their time and money by simply going anywhere else.

6/15/23: My CostCo Tire Center Vacaville appointment was set up at my convenience a week in advance by friendly professional technician Mark who processed my payment, explained warranty details, and patiently addressed my questions and concerns. Today my vehicle went in at 10:48 a.m. and done by 11:17 a.m., allowing me shopping time. My incredibly knowlegeable technical advisor today was Marcus who had been one of my Armijo English students in 2009. Though my Michelin tires purchased were not on sale, I am thoroughly pleased with the 80,000 mile warranty and the full range of auxiliary services guaranteed with this reasonably-priced set of 4 new tires that makes me so glad to be a long-time CostCo member! Previously bought tires at the Tire Center and we also purchased the warranty for damage, ended up being a bolt in a tire. Of course this happens the night before my wife is leaving out of town so we would be down to one vehicle. Wife called the shop and ended up talking with someone very helpful. When I arrived separately, I was also helped by a very courteous and helpful tech. This was late night when Costco is the only tire shop open in town. I appreciate at that late hour, 6:45pm, they still had the energy and professionalism to be polite and helpful. Very happy with our tire purchase years ago and this experience is why I will continue to support the tire center. I'm sorry that I didn't get names but this was on 3/8, 6:45pm who helped us out with a Toyota Avalon. Bravo guys

Every experience I have had here is negative. It is clear that I'm treated differently as a woman considering how the worker's demeanor completely change when he speaks to a man. I came in for a tire rotation (for tires that were purchased at Costco) and were told they couldn't rotate the tires because they were bald and they couldn't do the rotation. I was confused because I had only had them for two years and the worker who had been looking at my car just smirked at me as if he was trying not to laugh at me the whole time. I don't understand what's funny about someone who's confused and just wants information? I ended up going to the Fairfield Costco tire center the next day and they told me that the tires weren't bald after all and still had 5 to 7 thousand miles left on them still and the rotation could be done before I needed new tires. So not only was I told the wrong information but I was looked at and talked to like I was completely stupid. Thank you to Mike C who explained to me what was going on with my tires and what the next steps were. To whoever was working on my vehicle -please learn how to speak to people. I felt humiliated after my interaction with you.

This it's probably my first and last Time coming to Costco to get my car serviced. I unfortunately had one flat tire, and I thought I was lucky because I was already close to the tire center when my tire went flat. Costco at the time was doing a Michelin tire sale so I called ahead of time to see if they had a set of four tires before I got my car towed to that location so I can just get them all replaced. Chris answered the phone and told me that he had a full set of tires so I went ahead and called the tow truck to get my car towed to that location. When I got there the tow truck left and I went inside to purchase the four tires for my car. Chris then told me that the tires were apparently sold so I was forced to buy a set of two Bridgestone tires for my car. I was told that I was going to get a discount when the Bridgestone tires went on sale because of the mistake. When I returned to Costco just a little over a month to get the sale I was denied the tires and now I'm forced to buy the other set of 2 tires at full price. I wanted to speak to the manager which I believed name was Mark but he didn't come out to discuss the problem with me but instead employee just told me that I couldn't get the sale and that was it. Terrible customer service and would not recommend Costco tire to anybody.

Let's talk about the best service in the area. The folks at this tire center have gone above and beyond every time I have ever needed them and this past week was no different. They have never failed to be there when I need them and they get me in and out and safely on the road.

I cannot express how thankful I am for the team here. I came in with a puncture near their closing time and they still took me in and patched my tire.Chris, thank you so very much for you help. I will def be coming back(not near closing time next time).I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very professional and efficient operation.

Costco tire center in Vacaville crossed thread my rear right wheel stud. I found out about 9 months after when I had to remove the wheel but couldn't. i took it back to them to confirm and asked Mike (associate) to log into the system before i took it to another shop for repair. Once done, I took the bill to Mark (sup) and he was very thorough with his investigation but made me feel like a criminal. I provided all the paper work and timeline of events but his stance was once the car left the shop it's not his responsibility (then why asked for all the paper work). No one else touched my rear tires accept for Costco because they were the only people whoever worked on my rotation since i bought all my tires from Costco before in incident. He dismissed the claim because 2 months ago I had my 2 front replaced by FireStone due to aligment issues but Firestone never touched the rear tires (why would they? i did my own research in investigation). It took me about 10 hrs to get things estimated, repaired and claimed. Very frustrated and it didn't help when Mark basically blamed the customer once the vehicle left the shop for a crossed tread that can only be discovered until the next rotation which is about 5000 miles down the road. His supervisor paid but Mark said this while writing me a $70 check "i am not convinced" . I told & showed him I am an engineer overseeing multi million dollar projects and this is about principals. Costco Tire in Vacaville has none. This same shop broke my sun visor a few years back but i didn't claim because I was too busy and thought maybe it was a fluke.

Very friendly, when my disable son fainted pulling me down they were there to help us. My son was having a hard time breathing because of the use of face mask and he wasn’t taking in enough oxygen. They were very understanding and helped me to get him up and on a wheelchair! Thank you to the staff
