I DO NOT recommend Caliber Loan Products. Caliber Home Loans as an entity gets zero stars. I am providing 5 stars for the sales team because they are easy to work with and provide good follow up; they are a franchise and not in a position to influence your loan after the sale. If The Superior Team sold products other than Caliber I would bring my patronage back to them. If you like to tip your waiters and waitresses a lot of money even if the food and service is bad, then you are in the right place. Great service during the sale, but bad product and experience after you close. The corporation, not this sales team, sold my loan to a 3rd party within 60 days of me signing the dotted line. The sales team made it very clear that "They" (the corporate side) not the sales team, makes the decisions without them and the sales team can not do anything to assist. The sale of my loan has caused me a lot of inconveniences and confusion with respect to my automatic banking, insurance, and overall management of my situation. When I engaged with the corporate entity, I was referred to the contract that says Caliber has a right to sell the loan at any time. I was also told that the sales people quoting 90% of the Caliber Loans are typically serviced for the life of the loan was wrong and they casually apologized for the misleading information. ...Buyer Beware...I was misled.

My husband and I had been looking for a home for over 2.5 years! With the market being what it is right now we were really sad when we couldn't close on our first purchase attempt. We had a very stressful experience (due to the conditions of home etc. Nothing to do with loan) the first go around but Kristi and Doug were SO patient, knowledgeable and caring. They made the process so easy for us and always took the time to explain things to us like why things didn't workout, legal stuff that we had no idea about and how to make this home purchase the best for us! 1.5 years later my husband and I found a new home and returned to Kristi once again to take a stab at attempt #2. This time around Kristi was equally as professional, informative and PATIENT! We are so happy that things worked out this time and we were able to finally purchase our first home. Things went smoothly and Kristi gave us the best experience we could've asked for.

We were able to purchase our first home before it came on the market, thanks to all the hard work kristi did. they even worked on weekends for us. They made all the work easy for us, we did not expected our first home process to be this smooth, we can't even believe the house is ours and only took 2 weeks to complete everything. Totally recommend them

I wanted to get a loan with a local business and I thought this would be a good place. I had just received $30,000 and I was VA approved after receiving my 100% disabled rating. My credit score was above 700. I was already approved for a $420,000 with one company but I wanted to try a local company. Caliber homes did not want to help. Maybe because I am a single person. I went to buy a new house and had to get approved through another loan company and I was approved. I moved into my new home. If Caliber doesn't want to help don't give up.

Caliber Is the best! We worked with Kristi Jones and she is so helpful and responds to any questions about our mortgage. We have already refinanced with them twice and the process is always so easy and smooth. They are so on top of everything. I highly recommend Caliber to anyone looking for a mortgage company.
