Active Wellness is the best, hands down. My husband and I were members before the shutdown and I counted every day this place was closed. We immediately jumped on a new membership the second the gym opened. Here are the things I love:- water aerobics - the teachers are phenomenal and there are so many to choose from. The people in the classes are the best. - the trainers are amazing - especially Jackie. - if you like equipment, this is the place! Free weights. Functional fitness. Every machine. More free weights. Bikes. Elliptical. Rowing. Stuff I don't even know what it's called. - indoor track - hello being able to walk/jog in the summer during the day. - classes and more classes- Pilates - reformer! The women's locker room is great. I just wish they would get better shampoo and shower gel. It smells like rancid eucalyptus. It's strange. Kinda gross. Not spa like. Honestly, the shower products are my only complaint. People - you don't even realize the bargain this place is. It's amazing. But maybe don't fill it up too much because it's kinda nice quiet.. shhhh.

We visited this fabulous gym today for a tour and decided to join, even though it's a 40-mile round trip for us. It's the cleanest, biggest, most spacious, best appointed, most thoughtfully designed, disabled-friendly, all-age gym we've ever seen by some margin. The staff and clientele are equally enthusiastic. It exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to get started.

Since re-opening under new management, this place has been great. I would highly recommend the stretch classes at 11 AM with Jackie Rooney. She goes above and beyond for the members in the class with a wonderful positive attitude. She's always there before and after class to answer any questions, and also with a smile.

It is great to be back home. I missed this gym so much the last three years. I'm hoping that they start to offer more classes in the evening. There are way too many people in the water aerobics classes (which is great and popular). It's great seeing some of the same class instructors return. One thing I ABSOLUTELY miss is the spa music in the locker room. Otherwise, I always appreciated the different floors and wide variety of equipment available. It is a little more pricey than before, but it's great that they honored prior members with special rates. I look forward to new services and class offerings.

So far it is OK. We were previous members with the other management company and the prices were a little bit lower. We actually canceled ours before Covid and now three years later it's finally open. Shower area is a Freight towels are provided and so is so another 10 minute amenities to use to get clean. We used the pool for the first time since they opened. The larger pool is the right temperature just to some around a little bit and relax and of course they have the longer for for lap swimming. I stepped into the largest spa, and that one is really dirty. Around the edges of the pool there are black spots, so I don't recommend until it gets cleaned a whole lot better in there. It's gross. Jacuzzi spa. That's pretty warm is not too bad.So far I work out in the mornings about 6 o'clock and the TVs have never been on. I guess the staff just now does not know how to turn on a TV. I will take this as growing pains set that is new. Equipment is just fine no issues.

It's so good to be back to exercising and having fun! The front desk employees are helpful and friendly...thank you Emma, Gavin, Brooke, Daniel, Sophie for excellent customer service! My favorite classes so far..water aerobics (Miranda), chair yoga (Stephanie and Jacki), Jacki's stretch class and Zumba (Miranda and Lisa). Pool temperature perfect! Spacious jJacuzzi, feels so good! Lots of room in the locker room. Thank you for reopening!

I understand they are getting their act together since taking over from Health springs but there are some basic cleanliness issue that desperately need to be addressed Mold on the pool tile a cockroach's on the pool deck at least at cockroach's are dead It is very apparent there was almost no maintenance done during the Covid shut down. Soap scum is prevalent on all surfaces in the locker rooms Lots more room in the exercise areas due to removal of equipment, was it sold off for cash flow or to make room for newer equipment?Years ago my wife and I visited all the gyms in Vacaville and selected Health Springs but today it is a shell of the former excellent facility.

So nice they are open! The group class instructors are enthusiastic and assure you get a good workout. There are a lot of seniors and its nice to see there are group exercise classes for them.Front desk staff seem helpful and open to suggestions. A few of the showers aren't working properly but they were happy to know about it.Some of the towels during the soft opening are (worn) thin and have stains. Hopefully those will be replaced. The jacuzzi was tepid at first but has reached its muscle relaxing potential. Lol.Parking says its for patients only but it is for Wellness Center members too.Overall its good to be able to workout here again. This is the former Northbay HealthSprings.

My husband told me he signed me up after he went to the soft opening. When I arrived they told me I didn't exist in the system but that they were working on it.Their hours are not great. I was told to walk out the hospital exit because it was 3 minutes past 6pm. Meanwhile their staff walked out the main exit.To my knowledge they don't have swim lessons or childcare setup yet (features that the former gym HealthSpring Fitness did offer)

Do not work here if you can avoid it. There are plenty of gyms in Vacaville that are seeking qualified employees. Their hiring manager was late to an interview and proved to lack human compassion. Try Planet Fitness or In-shape. These High Tier workout gyms are doomed to failure because of poor management. Everyone is stressed out because of finance issues and they're not taking time out for themselves. Don't waste your money, there are plenty of ways to workout without gouging your wallet.
