The only reason I am giving 4 stars is bc prices are high. As a local, I could use more sales. I could use a better organic produce/fruit section too. But it's clean, staff is local, I know them, they know me, the manager is good (the store improved a LOT under this management), and the solar panels are nice in the parking lot but they seem to have shooed the birds away that I loved. It goes to show, those things aren't healthy. Also, prices did not go down after the panels went up, even though they must be saving a good buck by using solar. I love the trees outside in spring when they bloom. They could plant more trees, maybe? Oh, I almost forgot to talk about the products. It's good. I find anything I need and if not, they will order. If you like alcohol, that's your place.

Local food market in Nice. Prices are high. Fruit doesnt seem to have much flavor..Meat is better here than at Safeway. I like there Jumbo eggs. They really are jumbo. Fresh French bread from the deli is puffy..not like normal French bread that has texture but has a good flavor. Getting waited on at the deli is very long. I've stood there for 10 minutes & deli staff looked as me & acknowledged me & went back to what she was doing & when finished went over & started talking to another worker. I've been standing there & no one else was around & couldn't get served for 8 - 10 minutes. Definetly check cheese before u buy it..I've gotten moldy cheese a couple times. Fried chicken is usually yummy. Sandwiches are yummy but wait time is way too long. Too much chit chat between the deli staff when they should be serving shoppers. Up front staff are very friendly & helpful.

Great little market that has everything you could want when staying in Nice without wasting time going across the lake. People there are so nice and courteous. Yeah their prices are higher but what do you want or expect in a lake town that caters to tourists. It is what it is. Don't sweat it. It's clean and very well stocked. Good jobs everybody!

This is a small chain market (headquartered in Lodi).Though prices are more than your larger chains, they still have a lot of choices. And I've come across quite a few good deals here. The staff is a good team. The meat department has plenty of good deals, check the weekly ad. Monday's have $5 specials .4 stars because the prices are slightly higher.

Sentry is well stocked and clean. It is a bit pricey though. The employees are outstanding with their customer service. It is a great place to shop.

We are visiting the area, staying at a local RV park so I stopped in for a few staples. I was very impressed by this market! They have a great selection and a nice variety of meats, produce, and dairy and their bakery items were fresh. I picked up some wonderful fresh croissants and sandwich rolls that were not on my list. The store was clean and very well organized with friendly employees. Had a nice conversation with Sean, he is a wonderful representative of the store. Prices are about average, I’d say on par with Safeway & Raley’s. I plan on returning here again during our vacation and definitely recommend it.

The deli at the store is wonderful ? the folks there are always friendly and they are willing to do anything you would like them to do. My mother likes her salami as thin as possible and they do it perfect every time. The options there are wonderful and they have an awesome array of pre-cooked food to make dinner a little easier.

The staff is friendly, and the prices of meat seem to be fair? Their are alot of people who shop here, from all over the United States. I don't just shop expecting the same ol small country folks. There's a variety of people, cultures and values that incorporate and invest into Mar Vals. The staff are honest and hard working people that choose to serve our public with courtesy and respect. I love that in a small town! Keep us all in each others prayers. & know you are in mine. I'll be praying for more discounts, and no more turkey bucks this year! It isn't structured in a fair way. It's kind of confusing.

A very good selection of foods and a great liquor department the vegetables always seem to be fresh the deli offers some really good dishes I understand they're putting in some car chargers for EVs I love the big solar panels out front when it's hot it's nice to be able to park in the shade

I used to love Sentry growing up in Lake County, but I'm afraid to say it's gone down hill. Today I tried to get a sandwich from the deli and was going to get a tri-tip sandwich. Pretty simple, trio rip, some bbq, maybe some cheese if I was feeling fancy. Had the form filled out and ready to hand to the person when let me know they actually had them fresh up front, hot and ready to go. I went to the hot case and grabbed one. Searched the packaging to make sure nothing else was on it as I'm not a fan of onions or things like mayo, but the only ingredient listed were tri-tip and BBQ sauce. $9.99, which felt a little high but for tri-tip... oh well. I got back to my office and opened it up and could immediately smell onions and the mayo was leaking out the sides of the inner wrap. I did try to call Sentry and provide feedback that you should have your ingredients listed fully if you're going to have some partially listed. I was placed on hold for several minutes, spoke to a manager that I don't think ever gave his name, and all I got was "Sorry that happened to you." At least an attempt to remedy the situation would have been fantastic, but nothing. He seemed annoyed that I was interrupting his day. He did of course end the call telling me he hopes I will continue to show at sentry... unfortunately I won't be.

I enjoy this market cause the deli and not having crazy lines. They have most of what I look for. The staff are polite and they give a local neighborly feel. The parking lot is covered to provide shade and power. Over all it's very nice.
